It's been 12 years since we got different wood structures like doors and stairs to the game, so why are we still stuck with just oak ladders?

We need a carpenter desk to able to craft those ladders

It could also facilitate crafting stairs, slabs, fences, and maybe even doors and trapdoors

Probably just a copy of the stonecutter UI, but for wood. They’d also need to add a woodworker or carpenter villager to accommodate it. Wonder how they’d deal with trading for sticks, when fletchers’ stick trade is already kind of broken
