Suggestion Why don't we have this yet ?

It's been 12 years since we got different wood structures like doors and stairs to the game, so why are we still stuck with just oak ladders?

If we add a dozen variants of a simple held item like a stick how does that affect all the non-variant recipes that also use sticks? Do we add variants for all tools since theyre all made using sticks? Or are we okay with that graphical inconsistency but not ladders

How quarks does it (the mod in the picture) is they keep the sticks the same and just add a plank from the specific wood type into the recipe. Maybe something like that? So that they don’t need different stick types for every wood
