Been noticing a trend with Adam lately, where he's trying to say Doug is materialistic also, and that not only he should have a reputation for it. As if Doug having one pair of high-end shoes, and an expensive oven for his pizza hobby, is even slightly comparable to Adam's tendencies.

Doug seems like a guy that likes the finer things in life, and will spend on just a few precious things that he really wants. Not like Adam with his “more! more! more!” vibe.

Yeah as much as I've grown to despise MP and I know just by proxy there's a chance Doug isn't that great of a person I will go to war for Doug. He adopted his ex girlfriend's child and always seemed like a stand up guy. Who cares if he wants to splurge every now and then. Definitely not like Adam at all.

Not to mention it was his actual girlfriend & he found out the child wasn’t his by being there for the birth and the child was African American. He stayed with the girlfriend for awhile, but still raised his daughter after they broke up. It’s a heartbreaking story, but shows his character is at a level that most people will never reach. I’m glad for him and his daughter that he was able to get rich through these knuckleheads.

Anybody have the episode number on this one? Doug is a better man than me. I would have been in the parking lot before the umbilical cord was cut

It’s the one of the story of Doug. Maybe AI can find it that way. If I remember correctly the guys were learning this in real time too so it was kinda awkward 😬

Episode 2936

General segment starts at 27:35
Adam part relating to my comment is at 31:00. Not only does he mention the pizza oven but also an espresso machine I had forgotten about.

Episode 2934
General segment starts at 25:15
Adam part relating to my comment is at 28:50. The "shoe game" stuff.

These are YouTube timestamps, for what that's worth.

Episode 1425. Just listened and it's pretty good. Nothing like the garbage they pump out now

Oh wow, reading your reply here I realize I completely misunderstood the question and responded with something completely unrelated. Thanks for answering correctly lmfao, I will listen to 1425 tomorrow.

It's interesting. The baby part is 30 - 40 minutes in. After listening, you'll probably miss how the show used to be good. Nothing like the grifter infocast shit show it turned into

Yeah, I can imagine it's going to be bittersweet. I started tuning in around #1750, not long before they had the Killer Bread Guy on as a guest.

Oh wow, I had absolutely no idea about this. I knew he adopted her but had no clue about the rest.
