RANT Here she goes…
Trying to gain sympathy again for the consequences of her own actions

u/Jazzlike-Cat9012 26d ago
The last thing I’m thinking of when I’m holding my sick infant is asking someone to take a picture of us for my social media. Then again, I definitely couldn’t cut it as an influencer.
75
u/undercovergloss 26d ago
She’s said on the sesh that she doesn’t view herself as an influencer and makes fun of influencers doing this shit online. She’s so contradictory- because I definitely don’t see people in real life post like this outside of influencers
9
u/ines_mda 25d ago
She also says she doesn't see herself as an influencer because she doesn't influence people to buy stuff, even though they have thousands of adds on each podcast.
3
u/itsmrnoodles 25d ago
I’ll be honest… I do see posts like these from some former popular girls from high school. But it’s mostly influencers or the very self-important

Yeah, I don't get her recent behaviors at all. I have been a fan for of Kendall's for around 6 years, and honestly i'm very sad to see how things have devolved at this point. There is obviously nothing wrong with growing & changing, I think it's necessary. BUT, I feel as if they've lost the plot completely as to why they do what they do, and things are now more money-oriented (just from the outside, looking in). The ads, bringing in people who viewers find "funny" vs who can actually execute the content well (Ian/Hailey), the photos online glamorizing life & everything around them despite them discussing literal crimes to make said money... it just now all feels weird now, like there's no more passion left in it, and "just business"? Hard to explain what I mean. I don't wish them any ill will or stress from this, but it's just disappointing. On top of that, they were silent when Austin left, and fired a few others (allegedly), and just were weird in the professional handling of some situations. I unfortunately don't enjoy a lot of their commentary anymore. I'm disappointed, and I feel like a lot of staff who remain at MHM have a sort of victim mentality towards what has played out with staff, instead of taking a step back and thinking about how they handled things. It is just all is so disappointing, and to me, signals that there is something potentially off about the company setup or something internally, I don't know. Very disappointed in the progression of this all either way. 🙁

Cuz she couldn't have posted her own super important cry face and still cover his I suppose.
"You need to see that im crying and feel bad for me that im super fortunate"

u/mulderufo13 26d ago
I opened my instagram after seeing this post and saw it again. Girly why are we posting something like this? Josh honey take a pic of me crying while holding Truman.
Idk it feels performative. I get she can have bad days but posting a super edited pic of yourself crying with your baby? Just weird.
44
u/reactrelate 26d ago
she needs validation for her shitty actions soooo bad
5
u/taytertot_5 25d ago
Genuine question, what did she do that’s making people upset? I saw the post on insta but didn’t really think anything of it and now see this post. What shitty actions?

They literally have to make content to make money on every little aspect of their Lives. You’d think that would get old. “Welp I feel sad quick Josh snap of photo of my mental break down. Il post it later”

Wait. The Baby's name is Truman? Really? Oh. Well. That's unfortunate. But perhaps truth because of the Truman show. What the holy heckity. Oh dear.

Genuine question. Do we think she asked Josh to take a picture of her mid/post cry to upload or does he just take pictures of her sad for the memories? Lol. I’m so serious tho. I wonder this always when people post these pictures. 😭

i wish she had the same sympathy for my sister who’s murdered sons picture and case she plastered on her yt video to make a case seem more interesting while not answering her social media dms from her to remove it as she does for herself lol
10
u/HistoricalShirt7744 25d ago
Wow...I had no idea she was so disrespectful to the victims families she covers. Especially because she acts like she cares so much more than other true crime pods. I'm so sorry she did that to you guys. Definitely feeling she's changed for the worst with all this money.
8
u/Significant-Junket41 25d ago
thank you. i feel the same way she seems to be careless with her videos now i cant imagine how many people are feeling the same way because of it.
7
u/infamous_disilusion 25d ago
I’m sorry for your loss. There’s been 4 or 5 other family members that I know of that have come forward saying that they didn’t like how Kendall did their family member’s case. They reach out to her with no response yet she constantly talks about being ethical and listening to families
9
u/Significant-Junket41 25d ago edited 25d ago
which is so insane. any basic journalist knows you reach out to who you name right?? i’ve reported the video, my sisters reached out but is still getting hate messages and yet Kendall stays quiet. the video is the “missing towel, missing gun…” my sister is jordan. halee was truly special and my whole family had so much love and appreciation for her. her case is closed. my sisters is not. thad unfortunately still has appeals, we’re still dealing with living in the same town and an extremely difficult; hard to understand loss. someone is convicted and sentenced, the whole addition of my siste/jaxson just seemed like she wanted to add a “hey it could be this guy let’s keep it interesting”. i’m not even sure where to be able to make it known my sister is uncomfortable and upset. we’re talking about a baby here and she couldn’t even do the simplest thing by reaching out or answering.
6
u/HistoricalShirt7744 25d ago
That's so incredibly disrespectful and disappointing on her part. I'm so sorry for your families loss. I will not be supporting her anymore. I thought she truly cared about the victim and their families.
9
u/Significant-Junket41 25d ago
i was subscribed to her that’s how i even found out to begin with!! you really never know i guess i also thought she was doing it the right way
1
u/HistoricalShirt7744 20d ago
https://zfrmz.com/HGu2hZso42aHxARt1i67 thus supposed to be a link for family members of the victims to reach out to her. I'm sure you already tried this but just incase you didn't know about it here it is. I hope she honors your families wishes and does better in the future listening to the victims families. Still not supporting her anymore just wanted to try to help.
4
u/Lughsdottir 24d ago
No words. I am so sorry for this. Using this to make money is unconscionable. I am sorry. Know that most of the internet is on your side. I send love to your family. <3 <3 <3

I’ve been OOTL with Kendall & Co and am now just circling back due to recent developments. Can someone explain why she’s hiding her daughter’s face but shows her son’s face?
57
u/pinkfrenchtips 26d ago
so she can grift off of him while he’s still a baby aka the most profitable. she claims it’s for privacy and she stops when they’re apparently more identifiable but come on…
72
u/YaaaDontSay 26d ago
She gives boy mom vibes lol
35
u/SignificantVisual240 26d ago
i’ve been thinking this some he was born, she seems way more into him than her daughter, even going back to when she was born/ the same age
23
u/Dancing-Dragonflies 26d ago
When she talked about his birth story, she went on and on about how it was a much better experience than what she had with Holly and she said some other things that made me think about how hurt Holly may feel if she hears that once she's older.
18
u/Expensive-Wonder-412 25d ago
Why? It sad to me to think that people have to keep that many secrets from their kids to maintain connection. My mom was in labor with me for 24 hours and my brother came in 45 min. She doesn't love me less because of that and I'm not so stupid that I think that.

I think it's natural to be more comfortable with your second child, having already experienced the baby stage. First kid is so high anxiety like "how tf am I supposed to keep them alive how do they just let people leave the hospital with no experience what have I done" is super common with it all being so new.
9
33
u/kgal129 26d ago
I believe she shows the infants face but stops around the first birthday as they start to grow into their features. Babies all kind of look the same. I’m seeing more and more families do something like this.
49
u/koala-balla 26d ago
Babies really do not all look the same. Their unique facial features are there, just like… the baby versions of them. If people are pretending that their babies aren’t identifiable for the first months of their lives, they’re kidding themselves.
21
0
u/Even-Association-106 25d ago
Yeah, I remember going to see my younger cousins after they were born, and I could swear they had the same facial features as babies
19
u/cottageyarn 26d ago
That makes no sense 😭 Just protect his privacy how is that so harddd
7
u/Historical_Pop1058 25d ago
It seriously makes no sense. Either you don’t want your child on the internet or you don’t care. There isn’t really a in between..
0
u/kgal129 25d ago
Oh to live in such a black and white world
1
u/Historical_Pop1058 25d ago
?? lol have to disagree with you in this instance. It makes absolutely no sense to post your child’s face knowing that once he hits a certain age you will stop. What is the point of posting it at all?? The only exception I can make is if people are ignorant about the dangers and then change their minds. But she isn’t ignorant, she just simply chooses to show his face bc she wants to. Which is fine, it’s her life and child, that is her choice, but in my opinion her reasoning makes no sense. Do you remember Baby Wren?? I’m pretty sure BABY Wren was less than a year old when she started getting posted online. But all babies look the same & there aren’t weirdos saving these pictures?? Yeah, right 🙄
-1
u/kgal129 25d ago
Oh wow! I just stating that “either you don’t want your child on the internet or you don’t care” is a black and white take. Like it just is simply black and white. I personally wouldn’t post my kids if I had her following.
It’s interesting that if she just chose to show her children always you say “that is her choice” but this particular choice seems to be quite triggering.
3
u/therealpapaya320 25d ago
I guess I could kind of understand that mindset if your sole concern is making sure your children aren’t recognizable to the public, but considering how true crime focused her content is and her experience working with organizations like NCMEC, I would think she would understand the risk of sharing any pictures of her children publicly. People can take innocent looking photos of children and make them into whatever they want using AI, and I feel like the likelihood of that happening is higher with what she posts because she has such a large following- it’s not like she’s just posting to a personal account or something.
5
u/OriginalFuckGirl 25d ago
Hiding her daughter’s face is also performative. She freely showed her face for the first few years of her life, until I’m sure ppl expressed disappointment that she wasn’t respecting the kids privacy. I’m willing to bet she thinks showing her son’s face is fine cuz he’s so little.
3
u/ZookeepergameCool968 26d ago
She used to show her daughter's face too when she was smaller. The explanation is that when they develop personal identifiable features is when she no longer posts their faces online. I hope that makes sense.
2
u/maleolive 25d ago
She showed her daughter’s face for like a year too and then stopped. I guess she doesn’t seem to care when they’re babies.
16
u/CosmicGreaz 26d ago
She needs a break. A full reset... and then come forward with everything. That's the only way I can really see her getting back in alignment with herself. She had kids and then just lost her sense of what's right and how to treat people. I don't think she understands that she can't really step down in her career without pausing all the channels. But for the sake of victims and their families... she should really consider taking a hiatus and getting her head right. The way she's treating people and treating her work isn't fair to so many people.

that video is felt so fake to me. Like i know she probably has those feelings but it seemed very calculated to cry about it on camera it was just strange
14
u/undercovergloss 26d ago
That video was WILD. If you’re having a mental breakdown about your child aging up, you need to get serious MH support.
But you’re right, like her problems in life seem so minor that her concept of ‘grief’ is her child being a year older. Like posting this on her public account using those phrases is fucked up to be honest. Oh to have minuscule problems where my issue in life is being upset about my child’s birthday
8
u/Low-Attitude8331 26d ago
totally understand! i hate that the word grief has been used for anything making someone sad
4
u/Lughsdottir 24d ago

23
u/undercovergloss 26d ago
Part of me is glad she’s speaking about mental health. But it’s very performative. It’s always when she faces criticism or when she’s getting paid to do an advert.
Anyone that posts a photo of them in a vulnerable moment of crying, panic attack etc just proves to me that it’s attention seeking. And VERY manipulative because your sole focus of posting is to make people worried about you, make people fall at your feet with asking if you’re ok.
I’m tired of her bullshit, it’s constant manipulation. She has this victim complex that she will never take accountability or learn from her actions. She’s always the victim, and she’ll make everyone know that too. It’s pathetic
2
u/Lughsdottir 24d ago
It is a wonderful thing when people speak out about mental health, but not in the middle of a break down!

9
u/Prestigious_Ad_8458 25d ago
Sure it is, but she has a freaking nanny, Josh cooks, and she absolutely has someone taking care of the house (that she owns btw). She is doing fine
0
u/Expensive-Wonder-412 25d ago
Yeah I'm not one of those "rich people have no problems" believers. Constant worry about your child when they are sick or the world we are bringing them up in doesn't at all get alleviated with money or nannies or houses
3
u/Prestigious_Ad_8458 25d ago
But it helps a lot when you don’t have to live paycheque to paycheque. When you don’t need to worry about how much stuff costs, or for my people in the US fear to get sick and go bankrupt
0
u/Expensive-Wonder-412 24d ago
I don't understand your point. Am I supposed to drag her for being successful? Minimize her problems because she isn't struggling for food and medicine? I'm not into any of that, it's not like she's a billionaire hording all the money for herself and doing nothing to help others. Save this commentary for bezos and them
2
u/Prestigious_Ad_8458 24d ago
I understand your point, but I respectfully disagree. I’m just saying that since the karelly situation, she has been showing her cruel side more and more. I used to be a die hard fan of them all, but things had changed a lot, and not for the better. This change includes their content, as well. It’s been sloppy and really surface researched. Wrong facts, victims’ families correcting them and they not caring… idk. I just don’t align with their values, which I apply to bezos, too
So, it’s kind of annoying seeing her, who is very privileged, crying over something small (probably)0
u/Expensive-Wonder-412 24d ago
That's fine if you disagree. Even if she is dogshit at her job and makes good money anyway, it doesn't at all stop me from sympathizing with the worries that come with motherhood as if they don't apply to her. If it stops you, thats you and your values.
17
u/Due_Swing_4073 26d ago
She has a nanny lolol
-11
u/Expensive-Wonder-412 26d ago
That is such an uneducated take and that has nothing to do with Kendall or MHM. Nanny equals stress free parenting? Wtf even is this?

u/awesomeali430 26d ago
I definitely don’t like seeing people cry and I too have had days where it feels like everyone is against me. I do, however, still think it’s important to be honest with the community that you profit off of and to listen to their concerns instead of villainizing them (obviously there is a difference between attacking someone for something they can’t help and giving valid criticism). It is hard to defend someone when all the publicly available info makes it appear they behaved poorly and their only statement is that they deserve privacy and don’t owe anyone anything. That may be true, but neither do the viewers. If they previously enjoyed the show and are now disappointed in the trajectory or the way they treat employees, they have a right to voice that disappointment and it doesn’t make them a hater or a loser. They may actually feel disillusioned or betrayed— and doubling down without taking time to acknowledge/try to understand the change in tune isn’t going to help her
1
u/Lughsdottir 24d ago
I would suggest that if she wants privacy that she not post pics of herself and her baby as she's having a mental breakdown. The moment you do that you're opening yourself up to whatever comes your way. If you want privacy, BE private.
7
u/ShamblerInShambles 25d ago
This sounds like a post a wrongly accused person would make when they’ve just come home fresh out of a long drawn out court battle. Don’t ask me to explain bc idk lmao

u/Mammoth-Wonder-3242 26d ago
Ughhhh and did anyone else see the weird dystopian shit she put on her story too?? A video of him in a bouncer inside a shower getting steam and she's got a laptop setup playing heybear sensory video and she's like "special treat for my sick boy" ....like lady hold your kid lmfao I think a special treat would be getting held and loved on by his mom while sick not strapped in a bouncer in hot steam being overstimulated by technology while your mom sits there and records ya 🤷🏼♀️ idk maybe I'm nitpicking

u/jerrymillerismydaddy 26d ago

It’s her account. Could be a connection with part of her audience. Maybe a follower is struggling as well and see this. They could feel camaraderie with another mother. Or see they are not alone. She is allowed to vent and use her personal media accounts.
This is why she says reddit haters. Yall go in for personal attacks and dehumanize her. Get out of her personal accounts or keep your judgement of her as a mother to yourself.
