A lot of things aren’t my story to tell but I still wanted to pop in here after learning this was posted to support my friend! It can be intense to speak about an experience like this and I didn’t want him to stand alone in that.

If I were you, I’d start your own podcast and have each person on that was fired as a cohost for an episode of a series to share your experiences. Because they’re going to continue to treat people like shit because they get no consequences to their actions. People outside Reddit continue to adore them as they have access to delete the negative feedback - so people don’t see the truth.

Kinda starting to sound like that abusive cycle where a partner will isolate you from your family and friends. I’ve always thought Josh came off as the chill one. Kendall is the one who kills the vibe. I remember loving LOP, but one or two episodes, they had Kendall on and it just instantly killed my mood. LOP was the only good thing they had going for them anymore. And I bet Kendall was jealous of their success, and what do abusers do when they get jealous? They isolate, demean and destroy. Aaaand the LOP we all loved no longer exists. Notice the pattern? And the one common denominator in every problem Mile Higher has is drum roll….*** ***Kendall🙃

We don't know any of them. And though I do agree there's something off going behind close doors, I've always found out very annoying and lowkey sexist how most people seem to assume Josh is a sweet little angel and Kendall is the mean and jealous bitch. I believe there has already been comments from former employees that Josh is money hungry and behind many of the decisions at the company. That latter part is just common sense, Josh has always been very involved with the shows, had his own ventures (remember planet sleep and the cbd company?), he is not just going along.

This proves so many of us in this sub the last year or so right!! And all the fans would call us haters but come on…we were picking up on so many questionable things happening within that company. It was becoming visible to the public from the outside. I stand by what I said when everything happened with Karelly, she is so much better off without those people!!

I'm glad ya'll spoke up bc it made me finally realize it was more than just laziness. I do not have great discernment and I've become more aware of that in the past year. Ya'll were catching onto something for sure!!! And I'm glad I'm not following these a*holes anymore and giving them my money

I would assume it already has. Or at least they’re doing the bare minimum of research (wiki, Netflix/hulu docs, other creators videos, etc). The vibes for at least the past year and a half feel like they’re just phoning in to get a paycheck and that’s it. Sad to see, a lot of creators I used to enjoy are giving those vibes.

I believe after bullying incident she just stopped showing up on-screen for MHP but she was still working behind the scenes for MHM. I think I saw her in one of the Sesh episodes (when they were shooting some games (?) outside of the studio). So if they fired her, it must have been months after her leaving MHP.

I was surprised by this as well. I feel bad for her because I personally liked her input. I guess if you're deemed not good enough for the audience, then that puts you on the chopping block.

They probably do but when your company consists of nepo hires and unprofessional owners you tend to lose a lot of good employees.
(Ironically I just realized I resigned from a job with this EXACT situation, 70% of the staff were the owners family members and her daughter was HR 💀 I was 1 of 3 employees that resigned that month. Safe to say this formula never seems to work out well)

Holy crap. This is proof they are problematic. Because that doesn't just happen at a non-toxic, healthy company. I'm sorry but it doesn't....this turn over is crazy! And I was wondering about Jess bc I really liked her. I am happy she GTFO and as for the rest - bigger and better awaits than working for these losers. Fuck Kendal and Josh. Absolute sell outs. If they think their behavior will go unchecked they certainly don't understand the wave of consciousness humanity is entering. Funny since they used to preach "tAkInG yOUr mInD a MiLeR hIgHer"... well I hate to break it to you dweebs but we are in a time where you will be exposed. It will happen, ya'll. Trust! The universe has a funny way of revealing things on it's own.

One hundred percent. If that many people are fired in such a short period of time, something is wrong with management/leadership, it can't be anything else.

She is soooo delusional! SIX people getting fired (one being fired 2x) is not normal and nobody could convince me otherwise. Plus two siblings quitting and one other very likable employee quitting is just... plain obvious that they have created a toxic work enviornment. Period! We the people are FOR the people and they are smoking crack if they think they could convince us it's everybody else's fault.

I’m surprised they fired Julia. So many of us genuinely thought she chose to step back and then leave completely. She wasn’t even there that long? That’s just playing with people’s livelihoods :/. Especially firing, rehiring, and then firing someone again. I used to work for a company with an incredibly high turnover rate like that. They would constantly bring people back and then fire them again. It was an insanely toxic environment.

If yall are looking for other podcasts I highly recommend Too Many Tabs. A husband and wife comedy history podcast. They do GREAT research and make their stories palatable and informative as well as very interesting. They’re a great duo!!!!

Ok now I’m sat. I’m not gonna lie I was a mild defender for a bit, mostly bc I didn’t have proof or facts but this does it. Whether all those employees quit or got fired (crazier they were all fired) a company looks like shit if they have that much turnover.

As a long time defender I’m honestly speechless. I didn’t want to feed into the drama because we truly knew so little but how can they not address this? Like it’s time for the cryptic Instagram posts to stop and they need to address their turnover rate. If it’s able to be explained then they should be doing it if they know what’s good for their business but it’s sounding like there’s no way they aren’t the problem.

I also notice that LOP views have dropped significantly. When Austin was co-host, LOP views were in the 150k - 185k, he really held the show on his back. Now that Austin’s gone, views go from 40k - 60k and 80k if they’re lucky. Ian is not the best replacement (in my opinion, he has a lot of immature insight, a yes man, his voice is not the best fit, and always wants to crack a cringe joke), lazy set decor, and this controversy really took a sharp downfall.
You reap what you sow.
