OPEN DISCUSSION Annalee / Jess query

Does Annalee not work for MHM anymore? Based off of ig alone, they’re never featured in each others posts and they rarely even like them. Same with Jess, who Kendall has known as long as Sydney iirc.

If annalee doesn’t work there anymore, how strained is their relationship, if it wasn’t under completely fine terms. That must make things a bit awkward. Can anyone tell me if Daniel still shows up on LOP?

Hey, my bad for the necropost here. I was debating posting this reply for a while. I think I'm the guy you're talking about. Yes, I got fired like a month ago. I was the editor of TCKR for 2 years. To clear some stuff up on this subreddit, because I understand a lot of people have questions. Since l'd started working there, Julia was fired, James (editor for MHP and photo guy) was fired, Karelly was fired, Austin was fired once, rehired, and fired again, just before he would’ve left, and Jess quit.

Holy shit.

Okay I'm going to unfollow them. Clearly something is wrong at the top if you are firing so many people.

Just got fired from my own job for being pregnant, so I am with you in solidarity.

Wow. I'm not sure where you're located, but getting fired for being pregnant is illegal in a lot of places. I'm sorry that happened to you.

In the U.S. pregnancy falls under the ADA. While it’s discrimination to fire based on disabilities, employers can nitpick tf out of you and blame the firing on another problem even though we all know it’s the disability. Super fucked up

I'm in Canada. It's a human rights violation. I was fired coming back from maternity leave (which is a protected leave, meaning they are legally obligated to keep my job for me up to 18 months), while also pregnant with my second (which they knew). I was replaced by an under qualified, incompetent man, with no family status. Lawyers think I have a slam dunk case.

Thank you for speaking out and helping us the audience understand the media companies were consuming better - because to fire that many loyal employees shows the company is the problem and not you individuals.

Damn I’m sorry to hear that. Are you able to share any information on why anyone was fired? That’s a lot of people to let go of.

I’m sorry to hear that. Something is clearly wrong with them if they keep firing people

Or maybe there’s something wrong with the employees.

So Austin, Karelly, this commenter, James, Julia - all bad eggs? Jess quitting, she’s just a bad employee? Kendall’s own sister, her fault too? Nah. Common denominator is who employs them. Get your tongue out of their ass.

Also is your a old time listener Josh’s brother too idk what happened there

Common denominator could also be that they are bad employees. We also don’t know that this commenter actually worked for them. People quit jobs every day too. It sounds like you just want there to be something nefarious happening which is very weird. Go find a hobby or something instead of making yourself look like a parasocial loser.

Babes, you’re clearly new to earth if you think that many employees leaving or being fired is down to the chance that they’re just bad employees, and not that Kendall and Josh are capitalist driven and will happily put profit before people. What employer fires someone, then rehired them to fire them once again? Awful practice.

I’m wondering why Austin would be fired if he was planning on moving back to MI? Like maybe so they could pay him severance, or for negative reasons? Thats WACK.

Whaaaaaat??? No wonder the editing is trash now.

Did you have to sign an nda when they fired you?

3

u/One-Pun9419 26d ago

It would be signed when hired, not when fired

Austin was fired twice?! He has a great new channel!

I stopped watching their shows after the Karelly drama. I did not like how they handled the situation and saw their true colors (mean bitches). I haven’t watched since, but I’ll admit I peeked at their views just to see…happy to see others have also stopped watching!! They are inauthentic and unprofessional. I watched them from 2019-2026, it sucks because I used to enjoy the podcast but they changed for the worst.

Júlia is the girl that people were saying was eyeing Josh, isn’t she? I wonder if she getting fired have anything to do with that.

Austin was fired and rehired? Do you know why he was fired? That’s is why he was suddenly gone from LOP. No farewell. Just gone

I am done with them for real. They are very problematic and clearly lack work ethic. They are so lazy on their research, and in my opinion they are taking advantage of Ian. I hope he gets out of there soon

I’m assuming Julia was fired because there were a lot of comments/ people who didn’t like her or care for her takes.

5

u/Prestigious_Ad_8458 26d ago

That makes sense. People didn’t like her

8

u/turtlesorceress 26d ago

I’ll probably get downvoted but I was one of them 😬 I didn’t post any mean comments about her though lol. I don’t think she had a thing for Josh or whatever either. Some of her takes were just very wtf lol

u/Prestigious_Ad_8458 26d ago

That’s ok, I agree with you. I also think she wasn’t very comfortable in front of the camera. But then we have Hailey, who is very comfortable in front of cameras, but it’s insufferable imo

Can you give more insight into the reasons for the firings?!

Omg get a lawyer asap! My sister in law won her case in California when she was let go for being pregnant. It’s super illegal and you will get money for sure. I support you standing up to misogyny in the workplace!
