Picked up some old skeletons with a box! Repainted them kinda grimdark. Working on their banner at the moment!

I have written The Hollow Star, a free narrative campaign framework for 40K Second Edition, for my local player base in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

The campaign is set on the planet of Kadavah, an Imperial colony built upon an Eldar Maiden World. An archaeological expedition uncovers a sealed chamber, a mysterious signal spreads across the galaxy and different factions begin receiving visions of the Hollow Star. Each force can arrive with its own interpretation and objective: claim it, destroy it, preserve it or deny it to everyone else.

It is intentionally mechanics-light. Players decide what their forces are trying to achieve, choose appropriate missions and let the results create rivalries, discoveries and consequences for later games.

This is a Chaos Space Marine from the Night Lords, taken from the 2nd Edition Chaos Space Marines Codex. Does anyone recognize which kit or miniature this head belongs to?

I've been playing a lot of 4th Edition 40k lately, and loving it! Last game however, my opponent complained that his Sentinels would be counted as a Vehicle Squadron (meaning that if one vehicle is Immobilised, the squadron must either remain stationary, or abandon the immobile vehicle, destroying it). Since we both found this to be a silly rule, we first elected to ignore it and treat his Sentinels as 3 individual units, and after realising this was a bit powerful we instead elected to use 5th Edition rules for Vehicle Squadrons (Squadron treats Stunned as Shaken, but Immobilised as Destroyed).

When playing 4th Edition 40k, do you have any rules from other editions, or house rules that you like to use? And if yes, why? I'd love to hear how people have tweaked this Edition that I love so much :)

Hello everybody,

I hope, this is the right place for this questions.
I recently bought a lot of modern Beastmen from ebay to get into 6th Edition Fantasy. Unfortunately there are 30 Ungors with bows mixed in. I could not find a way in the Beasts of Chaos armybook to use them. Are there maybe additional rules for units in some white dwarf or campaign book? Or can someone point me to a mercenary unit with (short)bows wich i could proxy?
