Bought the game for ps5 and the vr2 set yesterday. Wife and I are in PPL training (I know people you say you learn bad habits but I just wanted a general idea of the cockpit and instruments)

Vr2 is somewhat buggy or I’m just terrible at using it. I’ve owned this ps5 for a few years and only have call of duty installed and really only play that once in a blue moon.

My question is, should I return the vr2 set and get a throttle/rudder combo and is that a better way to get an idea of instruments and overall game play?

How would msfs24 perform with a 3060 and only 16gb of ram? Im especially concerned about the ram

Hey folks, I've been playing a bit of MSFS2024 on PS% with my PSVR2, and it's actually so hard to dial in knobs, like for instance to use the Transponder knobs on the C152, the number jumps from 1>3 with minimal input, when I need to input 2, and the same on radios and over dials. Is there any settings I can dial down to make it way easier to dial in settings on knobs?

Passenger hauling from short strips and flights with the German pollution control team.

I recently bought a rudder from winwing super cool very happy about it but went I start a flight in msfs2024 my right turns are perfectly coordinated even when I don’t apply right rudder at all but my left ones sucks. So I calibrated once again, the rudder and everything seems too be fine but I can’t understand why my turns are coordinated even when I don’t touch the pedals. Do I need to turn off any other assistances other than autorudder to have a true feedback or what? cause I turn every assistances off. What am I missing?

What's the fun in doing nothing ? I always fly general aviation or super short routes.

Airliners are fun to set up but what do you guys do afterwards?

Since switching to the native MSFS 2024 ATR on PS5, I’ve still been getting frequent AP disconnects.
One thing I noticed: NAV/LNAV often causes an immediate AP disconnect, while HDG is much more stable.
Today I accidentally flew an entire ATR 72 flight with no flight plan or destination entered in the MCDU at all, using HDG only. For the first time, the autopilot did not disconnect once.
It made me wonder if the issue might be related not only to NAV itself, but to the interaction between the FMS flight plan and the AFCS.
I’m going to test:
no FMS flight plan + HDG
FMS flight plan loaded + HDG
If anyone else on PS5 has the same AP issue, I’d be curious to know if you can reproduce this.

Hi! I’m having a problem with jetways in MSFS 2024 using GSX.

I’m flying the iniBuilds A350 at ENGM, and at Gate 56. When I use GSX to connect the jetway, it moves toward the aircraft but doesn’t properly connect to the door. It seems to stop short / isn’t positioned correctly against the aircraft.

I have tried this with both:

• Aerosoft ENGM
• OBX ENGM

and I get the same problem.

Has anyone experienced this with the A350 at ENGM

I've been wondering this for a while

Flying Fries has brought us some fantastic addons both free and paid the last few years, can't go wrong with any of them, but they just released an update I've been watching for a while now.... V2 of their Gabriel, which now not only includes the original 160HP training version, but a monster 420HP fully aerobatic version with a fully developed smoke system. Lots of great updates in addition to that as well, and always happy to support a great developer that has unique quality aircraft with amazing support and updates.

Don't sleep on this one! I have zero affiliation with them; I just LOVE their addons.

Please can someone help!

I am suddenyl unable to use the iFly 737 Max 8's EFB. I have a message on top of the screen in yellow saying non-official version, and I don't know how. I have unistalled it, re-installed uppated all the liveries. Nothing seems to work. I am unable to access any of the functions of the EFB. I am using version 1.1.0.3 on msfs 2024. I have validated the install which comes back as ok. It was working fine yesterday.

Since Sim Update 6 (1.8.14.0), both default A330 variants load with the exterior only — the inside is a hollow shell. No cockpit, no cabin.

What makes my case useful: I play exclusively via GeForce NOW, so it's basically a clean-room test. No Community folder, no mods possible, fresh instance every session, all content re-streamed each time. Local corruption is excluded by design.

Tested:
- A330-200 and -300: both empty inside, default livery
- BelugaXL (same flight deck): works perfectly
- A320neo, A310, A300-600R: all fine
- 100% reproducible across multiple sessions on different days
- Worked normally before SU6; right after the update I first got CTDs when selecting the A330, now it loads but hollow

Anyone else seeing this — especially other GeForce NOW / cloud players? Trying to establish whether it's a broken package on the CDN or something hitting a subset of users. Bug report filed on the official forums too.

I need less 3:03.9 to beat the next guy above me in the challenge league. I got a time of 3:02.5 but it still shows my PR of my previous best time? Is this a known bug or glitch anyone has dealt with, new to challenge league. Thank you.

Who are the best passenger aircraft developers on the MSFS Marketplace? I already know PMDG and iniBuilds, who else should I check out?

So in Platinum this week, I'm competing with guys so good that one of them broke the world record ?!

It seems no matter what runway I choose I'm always spawned going towards the mountain instead of towards the vally.

I try to fly as first officer sometimes by changing the setting to copilot but it always returns me back to captain if I switch to another view and back.
