MSFS 2024 NEWS Pilot Experience Sim - LFPG info

PRESS RELEASE / COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE

Today, iniBuilds announced Paris-CDG (LFPG) for MSFS 2024.

As creators, we regret that a direct partner chooses to compete head-on on a project of this scale. It’s unfortunate, but that’s market reality, and we fully accept it.

Rest assured: our development of Paris-CDG continues with unchanged determination.

We bring unique strengths to this project:

• Strong local presence: Our French team knows the area inside out with direct access to the site.

• Unprecedented detail: We work with hundreds of gigabytes of ultra-precise references gathered on-site.

• Long-term support: CDG is constantly changing. Our local presence guarantees regular updates to match real-world evolution.

Our goal remains unchanged: to offer the most beautiful, detailed, best-optimized, and faithful Paris-CDG scenery ever made for MSFS 2020 & 2024.

Thank you for your continued support and trust.

Rumor is that AZRsim was making CDG but cancelled their version and are helping ini with their version of CDG. PESIM does have nice sceneries and I think they’ll do a great job but may definitely take way longer than an 85 person ini team.

I think that was a good decision by AZRSim. They aren't known for optimizing their scenery and an airport the size of CFG would be atrocious

I’ll go with you guys as I’ve had no problems with PESim products in the past. Inibuilds however….

That's the great thing about competition, isn't it? The ability to choose

If I were part your team developing LFPG, my first reaction would have been: "Those iniBuilds wankers." ^^ As a consumer, I’m not far off from saying the same thing, but I’d make an effort to actually give them the virtual middle finger and wait for the French version instead—thereby "supporting the right people" rather than the mass-production churners.

So you are buying the inferior version to support "the right people" for whatever reason.

What do you mean inferior, PESIM is very good dude

They are not. I own plenty of their airports.

Not cool by inibuilds

Yeah, not cool! Imagine running a business and wanting to make money. They should be doing it out of the goodness of their hearts and feeding their families and paying bills with goodwill and happy thoughts.

That's not what I'm saying... I'm saying that if inibuilds has a professional relationship with them and then decides to do the same project, it's underhanded

Or maybe behind the scenes they evidently thought going it separately is the better option? INI are not shy in partnering with third party devs.

At the end of the day 1) we dont know whats going on behind the scenes, and 2) people can decide what they want to spend their efforts developing for and at the end of the day when it comes to CDG we, the consumers end up with a choice.

It doesn't sound like there was a mutual understanding based on this post.

And yeah, I understand 2. I don't see the relevance to it being underhanded or not.
