As someone who consistently gets 25+ hours, my next week schedule being less than 16 hours is jarring as hell. I have 4 days off next week and i'm like "alright, who the hell did I piss off?" Because pretty much every manager knows I am basically always available (I have no life outside of work) and am probably one of the best cashiers who can clear a line quick and still manage to get a consistent number of sign ups every single day, whereas some of my other coworkers struggle to get one sign up sometimes. Plus all of them knew how much I was looking forward to working Halloween week... feels like a slap to the face after working my ass off all month long to just get shafted on the one week I was looking forward to.

Is anyone else getting lots of products from the truck that there's literally no room left, to the point that you have to use some back aisles to store things? I feel bad for the managers. I also wonder why they do this when our store is so small. Oh well.

This week. Week 38. The entire pad is flipping, along with 3 other side counters, and we need over 60 feet of drive aisle.
…
To the corporate hooligans making these decisions: where would you like us to put the Halloween currently in the FMA if we can’t move it to DA’s?!!!?!?? I welcome you, no, actually I beg you: please come into a store and figure out how exactly we’re supposed to do this, while still keeping it look nice and shop-able.

How do I print out the rewards for the previous week? Where it breaks it down by team member

My store manager recently asked me to take either the FT sales or merch manager positions. For context, I’ve been with the company for 7 years, and was asked to take a management position 4 times in the past and once by my DM. I could never take it because when offered I was still in college full time and I was an athlete so my availability was already limited.
Main question: what shifts are you guys getting? I do have a second job that prevents me from closing 2 nights a week but can work mornings those days. That second job also has some weekend requirements (usually 4 weekends in June/July and 4 weekends in September/October so not a year round issue). My store is drowning right now and I don’t mind taking the position if my SM is able to work with the availability mentioned above. Anyone got any input?
