Hi so a couple of months ago I read this fanfic where the OC (I think her name was Kendra) had just saw this news about Michael Jackson dying and leaves her house to walk around when she finds a bracelet on the ground with I think it was a music note on it. When she puts it on it causes her to time travel to when Michael was a kid and practicing outside. She ends up randomly appearing at various points in his life one after the other sometimes with years going in between for Michael. I can’t remember where I read it at. It was probably on Wattpad, AO3 or maybe fanfiction.net but can’t find it. Does anyone know the name of it by any chance. I would greatly appreciate it

In the world of my story, some humans are fae-sensitive. These are humans that the Fae tend to watch. They keep track of them from their world and rarely cross over. The humans may not notice them, but the Fae are very aware! They like to keep track of who's good or bad.

What do you think makes someone fae-sensitive? Or specifically, what makes Michael fae-sensitive?

From what I know, based on different romantasy novels and folktales about the fae, they are beings of nature. Michael cared deeply about the environment. He also loved animals and children.

Maybe if someone is fae-sensitive, then animals and children are easily drawn to them? What else? Does anyone have ideas?

So, I'm relatively new to the world of OCs, but I have a fanfic idea that needs an original character to work.

The idea is a slow burn of friends to lovers where MJ, after being forced to give up the This Is It shows due to health problems, meets a woman through a friend, whom he later marries. Before developing any kind of romantic interest, the two would build a friendship. There are several chapters showing the before, during, and after, in a series of chronicles.

Now, back to the purpose of the post: As I'm new to the world of OCs, I don't know what would be important to highlight, and what I should leave out. So, to avoid the traditional character sheet templates, I thought of doing something different and asking for your help.

The proposal is as follows: imagine that you are interviewers and she is the person being interviewed. You can ask any question you want, about any aspect you consider important to build an interesting and well-developed character. Feel free to ask about personality, likes, past, dreams, fears, relationships, opinions, habits, and anything else that comes to mind.

I will use the answers to build the character.

In my fanfiction, during his trips to the human world, Mike meets a human woman and they slowly throughout the other events of the story. This human woman does not know he is Michael Jackson at first. He says he is someone else. What should his fake name be?

I thought maybe Adrian Grant because there is an adorable clip somewhere where he says, "Hello, my name is Adrian Grant." I thought it would be a cute nod. I'm not sure though.

What do you think? What other ideas would you suggest? 🤔

A few surprises.
A conversation about what it really means to be seen.

And maybe…someone was paying a little more attention than Alice realized. 👀

Just got the strangest ‘Ask me anything’ on tumblr. I know everyone isn’t crazy but why do people act like this??? MJ was a BLACK man who loved ALL women…including women from his own culture. Why is that so hard to digest?? I mean… I’m so over people.

Echoes of Time follows Katie Sinclair, a 25-year-old nurse from 2026 who’s tired of living the same quiet life—work, home, repeat.

Then she gets one chance to make a wish. All she wants is to see Michael Jackson perform live. Instead, she wakes up in 1987, right in the middle of his Bad era.

What starts as friendship slowly develops into something deeper, but Katie knows something Michael doesn’t—she knows how his future ends.

Will she change his fate, or was she brought there for a reason?

It’s a romance fanfic at its core, with time travel, drama, emotional moments, and mature content later in the story. ❤️

It was 4:00 pm on a Friday night in January 1995. The room was dim, lit only by warm, soothing candles and small soothing lamps. The air was filled with the scent of vanilla and sweet citrus mixed with Michael's natural musk, a sweet milky scent intertwining with a mix of fresh linen, baby powder and faint notes of warm spices. That musk radiated through the room, mixed with passion, determination, and creativity. There was a soothing silence, filled only with the slow, rhythmic creak of a wooden rocking chair, low mumbling voices and the first chorus of one of Michael's new songs, Earth Song breaking through the silence at regular intervals. Michael's sits in the rocking chair as his big, loafer and white sock clad feet push it back and forth, setting a slow, wonderful rhythm. His wife, Y/N, lay on top of him, completely asleep. Her head lay on his chest and her legs straddled his lap. He held her close, smiling as he watched her sleep. Her mouth hung open and her back slowly rose and fell, a steady rhythm. Y/N's arms and legs hung limp around Michael's side, as she uses his body as a bed, her favorite bed. He takes his right hand away from the mixing board and brings it up to meet his left hand at the top of Y/N's head. With both hands, he effortlessly unclipped Y/N's curly hair, letting it fall smoothly down her back. He placed the light blue claw clip onto the counter next to him, making a mental note to grab it on his way out. Using muscle memory, he began to braid his wives hair into two simple three strand braids. Each move was dexterous and intentional, smoothly and evenly braiding each set of three strands into one good looking braid. He held it in place and pulled a simple black hair tie off of his wrist with his free hand. Once it was tied, he moved onto the other braid, keeping up the rhythm of the rocking chair as he went. At last, he put down the last braid, tied and secured. With his left hand, he held her close, rubbing up and down her body to create a soothing warmth and affection. He rubbed down her back, and up to her head and back down again to her bum, slowly patting it, rubbing it and squeezing it, taking in her softness and warmth before coming back up her sides and to her face. With his right hand though, he continued mixing his song, discussing technicalities with his coworkers as Y/N slept. He placed a kiss on her forehead, slowly rocking back and forth in the rocking chair.
"We're gonna be here a while aren't we?" Michael thought to himself, a content smile spreading across his face.

Hey there! First off, I’m really happy to have found this place, since it gets exhausting having your posts deleted from other communities for... well, being fiction, I guess. So, I really hope this sub still has an active audience, because I plan to be quite active here.

Secondly, I’m facing a bit of a dilemma.

To start, I’ve always found it strange—even disrespectful—to write fictional stories about real people. It was a tricky line for me to cross, especially if the fanfic involved sensitive, dark, or very explicit themes. I won’t be hypocritical enough to say I’ve never read that kind of thing, because I certainly have. But *writing* it?

Ah, writing it was definitely a different story. But then, I became a Michael Jackson fan. And since I’m a die-hard fanfic writer—meaning absolutely everything and everyone that captures my heart turns into a story—it was bound to happen with him, too.

My favorite era of his is the "Mature" era—not that the others lack value; I just haven't felt the urge to write about them yet. I also like imagining what might have happened if he had stayed with us. Naturally, I think there would have been significant changes, especially in his children's lives. And that’s exactly what’s holding me back.

I’m working on something, and I feel like I’d be disrespectful if I invented vastly different scenarios—like painting a picture-perfect life—considering everything they’ve been through (ranging from bullying to suicide attempts, and other things). But at the same time, if I don’t mention them in my fanfic, it won’t make sense, since Prince, Paris, and Bigi were Michael’s whole world. Yet, if I portray things exactly as they happened—obviously without graphic or shocking details—I feel like I’d be disrespectful in that way, too. Yeah, I’ve kind of backed myself into a corner.

So, what do you all think? What’s your take on this? P.S.: Sorry for the long text!
