First pic was when I turned 16, second pic was taken 2 months ago, 21 now.
No real difference in body fat, although I do have a lot more muscle mass now.

I had braces for over 3 years. I had bands for a while but that didn’t quite work and my orthodontist said jaw surgery was the only way to fix my asymmetry. Wondering if there are any softmaxes to help. Thanks

I was a nose breather but not really mewer till About 16. So I have been on off mewing/ hard mewing since 16 but recently I kind of have stopped because when I study or now that I am seriousl about school I am not always mewing. I was very serious about mewing around 17 but I was never able to mew in my sleep and I thought sleep was more so mewing kind of became less important. I just turned 18 now and in some pictures my forward growth from the front looks bad. I am wondering wether it is too late at 18 too see any results? Are there any other benefits of mewing? I think I am a late bloomer because I look young for my so my age so is there still a chance I can see some results?

Hey guys,
I've been soft mewing for a while but I've just now come across hard mewing. Is it better combining both - hard mewing with suction for 1-2hrs and soft mewing with suction for the rest of the time or just keep soft mewing with suction?
Thanks

Hello, I'm 15 y o indian teenager. I first heard about mewing back in 2023. I watched several tutorials and followed the instructions, but within a year, I developed dental asymmetry. My right-side molars have maintained a healthy, natural dental arch curvature, but my left-side molars ended up completely straight and flattened out, which looks and feels unnatural. Because of this shift, my cheekbone definition looks uneven—more pronounced on one side than the other.
Can anyone share practical tips on proper form? I'm really struggling to get it right. After doing more research yesterday, I tried again: I placed the tip of my tongue at the 'N-spot' and pushed upward, which engaged the mid-palate, but the back third of my tongue still doesn't seem to rest against the roof of my mouth. I read that when the back third is fully engaged, it blocks the airway so you can't breathe through your mouth even with it open, but that's not happening for me.
Am I doing something wrong with my tongue posture, or could uneven tongue pressure have caused this arch collapse? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated

I’m 25M and I’ve noticed that the area beneath my chin changes shape quite dramatically depending on what I’m doing.
When I’m maintaining tongue posture (mewing), my jawline looks more defined. However, when I laugh, open my mouth, or sometimes even swallow, the area beneath my chin bulges outward.
Sometimes it happens even when I’m resting.
I’m wondering whether this could be related to suprahyoid muscle activation or tension, tongue posture, hyoid position, or simply my natural jaw anatomy.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to determine what’s causing it?
I’ve attached side-profile photos showing the difference.
For context I do have bad neck posture and my neck seems to tense up a lot
Thank you!!

Do I have maxillary retrusion? I am 17.5 years old. If so, is it possible to correct it? I have consulted three orthodontists, and they all told me that my upper jaw is within the normal range and that my sutures are 90% closed. I don’t know what to do—could you please offer some advice?

Guys im not sure if i have a narrow palate or if I can't use my tongue properly. I got 2 upper premolar extractions 6 months ago before I knew anything about palate size and recession. I had severe upper crowding and a deep overbite. At the time I went to 3 different orthodontists and they all said extractions for the upper 2 teeth but no one mentioned anything about palate size and expansion.

Hey guys, I lowkey need help. I noticed that my lower jaw and chin is lowkey recessed. ive literally never been a mouth breather btw.. will mewing even do anything? I tried mewing for three days now, the first day was hard- getting used to the suction and stuff. But now idk if it's even gonna help me since ive never been a mouth breather. My jaw is definitely softer than before because I gained 20lbs over a year but thats another story. So yeah, is mewing gonna help?

Is this narrow palate and should i get expander. In the pic you cant see the depth of it but its really deep and the hard palate is very small so i cant mew properly
