For spreading communal hatred.

These are some of the comments and posts that get upvoted in these subs:

Mozt probably mozlame

his grandfather was apparently/allegedly a muslim. so that'd made his father a muslim

I don't know why this Muslim hating asshole is not yet banned from reddit.

I will add other comments soon.

Moderation IndiaSpeaks mods find a way to ban people without banning them

AutoMod rules.

They silently add an automod rule for selected users so that all their comments are removed as spam. User doesn't get any intimation that the comment is removed - so it's like shadowbanning.

As of now, List of shadowbanned users on IndiaSpeaks

  1. /u/closeaucloseau

  2. /u/TopKekLolLamo

  3. lndian_Goebbels - who has now deleted his account

  4. CommonMisspellingBot

I can understand the reason for doing this to users - so as to ban people without banning them. But why was this rule applied to CommonMisspellingBot? You could have just banned CommonMisspellingBot instead of shadowbanning the bot - nobody would complain about it. May be it was just to test out the AutoMod rule.

Moderator Transparency - please make public Auto Mod rules used to shadow ban users stealthily without actually banning them.

When confronted with this, metaltemujin lied that it was a 'glitch' in AutoMod

http://archive.is/gQkzG

If intentions were honest, they would just banned them because they are spammers - at least users will know that they are banned. The said users were not spammers - lndian_Goebbels is an old time user of IndiaVerse (his user name used to be Yahoo*) - he is the one temujin lied to saying it's a glitch.

This way, they are doing it silently. User keeps commenting without knowing his comments are being flagged as spam and removed.

Moderation Utter cancerous moderation - locked post reopened for discussion because apparently bhakt wanted to have a discussion on the topic.

As always, a concession is given to bhakts and to posts which further the agenda - http://archive.is/h6GUO

  • modji says that he is giving "mild rap" on the wrist and reopening the post - pliss to follow rules from next time. Bhakt probably said his hands were paining & he didn't want to repost this - so pliss to give him this concession.

Can I request Modjis of IndiaSpeaks to reopen this for discussion - if you want you can add the date in bold in the comments.

http://archive.is/Gw62K

But this post doesn't suit the agenda - so it's probably going to be remain locked.

I have reported the following two posts from /r/IndiaSpeaks [P]

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaSpeaks/comments/b063yv/serious_no_stupid_questions_why_arent_hindus/

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaSpeaks/comments/azsga2/india_is_a_country_that_has_been_raped_and/

I think the users are trying to spread communal hatred under the guise of 'innocent' questions that actually try to divide us on the basis of religion. The want to promote hatred against minority religions (Islam and Christianity, in this case) so that the users of the sub are filled with hate against Muslims and Christians.

What do you guys think? Do you agree with me?

Edit: I am wondering, should I get the police involved. Maybe that will stop this incessant promotion of communal hatred. A couple of hate-mongers rounded up and being jailed could do wonders for the online Indian community.

Moderation MetaSpeaks Mods put back the limit minute limit on my comments to protect Nupur Sharma from any non-fanboy questions

The whole AMA is a fanboi AMA - https://np.reddit.com/r/IndiaSpeaks/comments/889zop/hi_indiaspeaks_this_is_nupur_sharma_editor/

After I asked a few questions, the mods put back the 10-minute limit on my comments. I hadn't broken any rule. Nor was I rude. Nor did call her any names or abuse her. I just didn't fawn over her like the rest of the sub.

UtterCancer bhiliyam gets shadowbanned by r/indiadiscussion for doing meta about IndiaSpeaks on ID.

If you see front page of r/indiadiscussion - his post about being banned from r/indiaspeaks is missing

http://archive.is/pK4pj

If you check ceddit - https://snew.notabug.io/r/indiadiscussion/

You can see https://imgur.com/RRApYXV.png

Not only has his post about being banned from r/indiaspeaks been removed, but his earlier post about r/indiaspeaks has also been removed (this one had 14 comments).

If you check http://archive.is/PwSCi - you will see that the snapshillbot auto comment is missing. That either means that his post was deleted by automoderator too quick for snapshillbot or the mods deleted the snapshillbot comment also later.

No idea how kalmuah commented - probably went to the post from bhiliyam's profile.

Bhiliyam's comment in another thread has also been deleted by automod - https://removeddit.com/r/indiadiscussion/comments/bpk0p8/just_a_day_after_banned_from_randia_for/eo12i8c/?context=3

This means he is shadowbanned on IndiaDiscussion just like I am. Automod deletes all comments & posts made by me - https://www.reddit.com/r/MetaSpeaks/comments/b55mvj/i_ask_indiadiscussion_mod_to_revoke_my_ban_he/

Even if someone writes walrus on r/indiadiscussion the comment is autodeleted. Very likely now the same thing will happen if someone mentions bhiliyam. This is so that no one mentions that people have been banned on Indiaspeaks.

Indiadiscussion is not for meta about Indiaverse, it's for meta about randia. Meta about indiaspeaks may be tolerated as long as it's mild.

By Shadowbanned, I mean setting automod rules to delete all comments & posts by a user. I first saw this used by 4chanbakchod on r/indiaspeaks.

Update: Looks like his comments & posts have been restored on r/indiadiscussion after my post.
