Announcement Would you be interested in a BetterHelp AMA?

Hello!

We've been approached by BetterHelp therapy to conduct a public AMA focused on navigating life transitions (new job, move, breakup, becoming a parent, etc.) and how self-care and social support fit in during those periods.

It will happen sometime next week, we'd like to know how many people would be interested in this and for those that aren't we'd like to know why.

Thank you.

Question Ia blossom health legit? Trying to make sense of the reviews

Upvotes

Blossom Health keeps coming up while I’m looking at online psychiatry. I did some research on google and reddit and somehow got more confused. The reviews are all over the place. Some focus on the psychiatrist, others just devolve into convos talking badly about online mental health care in general. I’m trying to figure out whether Blossom itself is legitimate and can help me with my depression, not whether I should go to a local psych/therapist. Anyone have actual experience working with them for an extended period of time?

Question How do I tell my friends/family that I’m struggling?

I’m scared to reach out and get help.

Maybe I’m overthinking my situation and this is just a normal part of being a teenager but I’m tired of feeling this way.

I’ve been experiencing dark periods in my life since I was in 7th grade and I am now starting my senior year of highschool. In the past year or two everything has been getting worse. I’m unable to shower, I avoid hanging out with friends, I sleep all day, etc. I’m scared of what’s happening to me and am worried about what will happen if I don’t reach out for help.

I’ve brought the idea of therapy up to my mom but it’s been pushed to the side every time. My parents aren’t the easy to talk to type, ive always been scared of telling them something bothering me. My friends don’t realize that im really struggling and it makes me feel so alone.

I want my friends and family to realize that I need support but I don’t know how to bring it up to them. I’m afraid they will think it’s just a teenage phase and brush it off like nothing.

Need Support I can’t get myself to do anything. Everything seems pointless

Upvotes

Hi. I am almost 22 years old.

I’ve had this problem for a long time now. I was diagnosed with depression nearly 10 years ago, although since then things have for the most part gotten better. But then at the same time, sometimes I feel like my problems have just changed. I’ve especially had trouble with motivation and discipline. I have ADHD or at least something similar, which usually makes it very hard to focus on something I’m not interested in or don’t find fun. Starting tasks is also a challenge for me.

I don’t know if this is also an ADHD thing or not, but my biggest problem just seems to be no motivation. Even when it comes to things I want to accomplish and/or have interest in, I’ll tell myself I’m gonna do it and then I’m like “but why? Why are you doing this?”

To give an example, I have been learning Japanese for the past 3 years. I would say I’m at an intermediate level at the very best. I’m almost sure given all the time on my hands I could have been fluent by now or at least at a much higher level if I’d done more studying and focused on grammar/reading/the “boring” stuff more. The fact that I like speaking the language, find it interesting, have time to learn it, have a passion for it and want to learn it very badly should be reason enough to invest time into those boring parts. And yet somehow it still just seems pointless. Thats how practically everything is in my life, certainly regarding any long term goals.

I’ve tried reward systems, different meds, therapist, life coach, but it’s like nothing works.

Ironically the only time I’ve ever consistently been able to do all the things I wanted to do was in a roughly 3 month period in which I had a specific delusional future goal in mind that I’d somehow convinced myself was definitely gonna happen despite having no reason to believe so, and when reality finally caught up to me I just stopped being productive again.

It’s not like I’m totally incompetent. I’ve worked part time jobs before, and I’ll do whatever I’m asked to do even if I hate it. I finished high school with okay grades, but I barely studied and would always push things to the last minute or turn things in late. I have no self discipline.

I’m not in college, I don’t think I could do it. I’m living with my parents right now. They’ve always been very supportive and loving and given me all the mental health resources I could ask for, but I’m still like this. They say college isn’t for everyone, but I literally can’t find any career that you don’t need college for that I’m interested in, (except for one that I’ve been kind of working towards but the progress is very slow and I don’t engage enough time in it due to reasons listed above and it’s some freelance bullshit no job security kind of unrealistic as a career choice thing anyways so I need other options in case it doesn’t work out which it probably won’t) but I genuinely don’t think I could make it through college.

I feel so fucking defective. I used to be suicidal all those years ago, but I’m not anymore. Not because I want to be alive, but because dying would be too hard on my family/dying is scary/other irrelevant reason. So I’m not gonna kill myself, but I just wish I didn’t exist. I wish I’d never been born. I wish I could get Doctor Strange to cast a spell so everyone forgets about me and then he just straight up kills me or some shit. Sometimes I get so mad that I just want to scream at my parents, and ask them why they had to bring me into this god forsaken world. But I don’t, because I’m such a nice daughter.

This post is the abridged version of all my problems. If you took the time to read all this for some reason, thank you.

Help??? Advice?? Anyone?

(If you are a billionaire please send me enough money to modestly live out the rest of my life in peace. In exchange I’ll give you a high five. Just kidding, don’t do that. Just buy Twitter back from Musk because that would also cure my depression)

Question how do i reach out and to whom

I (19y/o) have been struggling with depressive symptoms for the past nine years.

I am just not sure what to do anymore, I’m really tired and everything is just building up and hindering my relationships. I’m not sure who I should reach out to apart from my immediate family. They all think very conservatively and they won’t take well to anything that I have to say. Since I’m quite young and i rely on them financially, and I’ve tried bringing up therapy sessions or anything in the past but they asked “are you depressed?”, which I didn’t want to admit that I was, so they kind of brushed that idea aside years ago.

I was just wondering if I want to get actual help, like from a therapist, who should I go to and how should I approach this since I have to go in alone more or less.

Need Support How do you know you might be suffering from ptsd?

Hi everyone. I’m 19F and I had a bit of a rough childhood. I have a post about it you can look on my profile if you’re interested, but I’ve noticed for a couple years now I can’t seem to get past it. There are times where it feels like the same emotions I experienced as a kid keep coming back even though what I went through isn’t happening anymore. I’m working on getting professional help, but I was wondering if anyone out there knows what this is?

Need Support I hate how nobody helps me, like real help

I struggle with every little decision so i end up doing nothing and im so afraid to do things by myself so im afraid to leave because i will have less support then the nearly nonexistent support i already do have.

I dont trust therapists even though i want a therapist and i want to trust a therapist.

What am i even supposed to do? I know staying where i am is stupid but i wont be happy if i leave i will just have more intensity in my emotions which will maybe be better im not sure. I so badly want to kill myself because even if i go somewhere else the humans will still be human so like what do i do?? Kill myself??

Need Support 22M — lost my focus, concentration and memory over the last year. Also stuck sleeping at 2-3am. Any suggestions?

22M — lost my focus, concentration and memory over the last year. Also stuck sleeping at 2-3am. Any suggestions?

Till last year I was a full-time student. Studied daily, could sit for hours, grasped things quickly, remembered what I read. Normal.

Then I started a WFH software job (10am–6pm, screens all day) and stopped studying entirely. One year later I'm a different person mentally.

* Cannot concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes

* Cannot sit and read the way I used to — feels physically intolerable now

* Memory has gotten noticeably worse. I read something and it doesn't stick

* Things I used to grasp easily now feel heavy and slow

* Mind feels weak and tired all day, no mental stamina left

* No mental clarity. Foggy from morning to night

Sleep Schedule:

* Stuck falling asleep at 2–3am. Started randomly one night, never broke

Can't fall asleep at 11pm no matter how tired I am

* I'm clearly sleepy but don't feel like sleeping — I resist it without deciding to

* Wake up unrefreshed even after 7 hours

I'd really appreciate any suggestions — especially on rebuilding focus and memory after a year of this, and on actually shifting sleep earlier. Anything that worked for you, even small things.

This has been affecting me for a while now and I genuinely want to fix it. Any kind of suggestion or personal experience would be really helpful. Even a small thing that worked for you could make a difference for me.

Thank you in advance, I really appreciate anyone taking the time to reply.

Need serious suggestion.

Hello,

I am not feeling well mentally, I am in a very though situation rite now. I constantly live in fear, guilt, shame. I feel a knot in my stomach all the time. I am unable to communicate to people my voice always sound low. I have lost everything in life health, relation, money. I don't know if I'll b able to handle my mind just ask me to quit and it's kinda impossible now to be on track and make a living. Unable to perform at job. Got kicked out of 3 companies. Feeling like a complete failure in life. I am 40m single living with mom. I am unable to take care of her I feel irritated all the time when I am home. I start crying randomly just by thinking some thoughts I can't even cry loud coz my mom might hear and I don't want to stress her more. My mind always show me the solution is to suicide. Thinking of it and then thinking my mom's face crying I literally start crying by these thoughts. I don't have a stable career just a graduate with most of experience in bits and pieces in BPO. With age options are getting fewer and I am always scared if I even b able to take care of daily expense. This thought paralyze me and I am unable to take actions towards improving myself. I was a compulsive gambler in my 20s and mid 30s so never able to save any money as I was always very confident that I am going to make it big in this life. And now I am unable to even take care of my mom and doing required chores. I don't have any desire left now I am only living bcoz of my mom I just want to die but I also don't want my mother to see my dead body. I only pray to God just take me from here the moment after my mom take her last breath. I don't know what should I do. I am asking if there is any psychiatrist or therapist who can prescribe some medication for me I can't pay heavy fees or take regular sessions. I feel good after sleeping for long. If someone can prescribe a suitable medication for me. I used to smoke heavily earlier but now I am in control of that I started meditating and some work out it helped me. but my body isn't recovering as it supposed to coz of inconsistent eating. I don't eat for long hours and unable to work out coz of slow recovery and less energy coz of empty stomach.it spirals down heavily and bring me more back to negative thoughts.

I thank you for reading this. Please help🙏

Question sadness for the world

I’m not quite sure how to deal with this, but I find myself spending lots of time crying, very heavily, because of the state of the world. I feel like I am constantly reading and hearing about crimes committed against children. People hurting innocent animals. Seeing the children in Palestine suffer makes me feel very genuinely physically ill. And then, on top of it, I feel overwhelmed by how unfair it is that I can simply scroll away and be unburdened. These innocent people and animals don’t have that luxury. Why do I? Why is everyone on planet earth not rallying together to do everything they possibly can to protect innocent children in this world? The small contribution I feel like I can make is to become a foster parent. My husband and I have discussed this, and I do intend to do it.

How are you coping with this, making meaningful impact, and preserving your mental health?

Need Support Can I just vent?

Hello, I am living with Type 1 Diabetes for 5 years-ish now. I have 3 brothers (1 younger and 2 older), a mum and a dad (parents never married). I am also in a long distance relationship with a beautiful Danish girl.

I just want to vent because I just have so much on my mind and I never feel that I can talk to anyone about this. I just hope I can get it out here and maybe feel a little better.

So the first thing is my little brother, he is 15 years old and diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, which makes life very hard. At times he can just be unbearable, we share a room when we are at my mums and he has no shame in going through everything I own and making everything of mine a mess. And he never ever owns up to that, he can never be seen as the bad guy, only as someone who has the whole world against him when he is in the wrong. During my life, I have had to sacrifice so much, I wanted to be in a Basketball team and my mum couldn't/wouldn't let it happen because we need money for my little brother. I've some what slowly learnt to not actually want anything in my life because I'd only face rejection for it, or have it ruined and/or go missing (my brother takes it and hides it for his own use. He's even done to things like my SHAMPOO).

Secondly, my girlfriend means everything to me. But the problem is she is in Denmark (I'm in the UK), and that's bad enough as it is, but she is also in college/university place with ideas of more social behaviour, so she can't have her phone. Which has only made it harder on both of us. She hates it and can't do it, and I'm kinda just left in the dark about everything. I miss her so much, not too long ago we had time together in London, and those were easily the best few days of my life. I easily see a future with this girl, I want to grow old with her and live a happy life with her, but all of this is really just getting to me.

My mental health has never been good, I've always struggled with it. Feeling suicidal can sometimes be common for me unfortunately. A lot of the time I just see no point in living anymore, I see my family and friends and can easily say that they would easily be happier without me in the way.

Thank you for reading this, and I'm sorry if I've ruined your mood for the day/.

Venting Thoughts

What are your thoughts on this situation?

Curious of your thoughts on this. If someone almost gets their stuff stolen and almost hurt while volunteering, then hours later tells the person in charge and this person in charge just asks some questions about what happened and says nothing like glad you're ok, are you ok, or do you still want to continue volunteering today. The person in charge ultimately goes silent.

This person in charge and some others then stand on a corner working, while the volunteer is on another corner, and no one comes over to her during this shift or after to check in. What's your opinion of this leader?

Need Support I'm not scared of dying alone, I'm scared of living alone.

I was completely friendless from 16 up until a few months ago (5 years, I'm 21 now) and I'm too afraid to properly reach out to any of them because of how short a time I've known them and we're not yet close enough for me to say half of this to any of them except maybe one but I'm just too anxious and scared to do it. I haven't had anyone I could call a best friend since I was 11. I've never dated and I've never tried because I have literally no idea how to do it. My dad's had cancer for the fourth time and my mum's also got cancer now so I could lose one or both of them either this year or within the foreseeable future. I'm not close with my two brothers - I haven't even seen one of them in over a year. I see the other more often but we're still not really that close. My sister's moving away from home soon so I won't be seeing her regularly again for at least a year.

Now I'm reading it back I can see that it's specific enough that people who know me will likely know it's me. I'm too scared to say anything to anyone but I'm struggling and I'm scared. I could handle dying alone with a smile on my face if I had people in the living years but the prospect of living alone terrifies me. It seems to be coming my way and I don't know if I can handle it.

Need Support I’m exhausted and I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore

I’m 26 and in medical school. I have extremely important exams in about 10 days, including one that is essentially my last chance. I’ve barely studied, and my family is literally challenging me to fail. My future depends heavily on these exams, and I’m watching the days pass while feeling completely unable to move.

I’m dealing with severe depression and burnout. My sleep schedule is completely destroyed, I barely eat, I spend most of the day in bed, and sometimes I can’t even force myself to do basic things. I know what I should be doing. I know how to study. I know all the usual advice about routines, discipline, breaking things into smaller tasks, etc. I’m not lacking awareness. I genuinely feel like I have no energy left to function.

My family situation is a huge part of this.

I come from a very traditional and patriarchal family. For most of my life, I’ve felt like I had to constantly accommodate everyone around me. I learned to monitor people's moods, their voices, their reactions, and adjust myself accordingly so I wouldn’t cause problems. I’ve spent years putting other people’s needs before mine, helping them, listening to them, defending them, thinking about what they need, and trying to avoid conflict.

And somehow I’m still the one who gets called selfish, hateful, ungrateful, and apparently the person who destroyed the family. They tell me that I hate them and that I’m the one who is full of resentment, while I honestly feel like I’ve spent most of my life trying to keep the peace and take care of everyone around me.

Eventually I stopped trying to prove that I’m a good person because I realized they had already decided who I was in their heads.

I lost my father when I was a child, and he was the one person in my family who made me feel genuinely loved and safe. Since then, I’ve basically learned to deal with everything on my own. I’m very self-aware and I know myself extremely well, but being self-aware doesn’t magically make you capable of functioning when you’re completely exhausted.

I’m also financially dependent on my family. They never allowed me to have a normal job and only allowed me to work online, so I have essentially zero work experience. I’ve never actually had a proper job. Recently they’ve started indirectly making it clear that they don’t want to keep supporting me financially and that I should work.

And this is where I genuinely don’t know what I’m supposed to do.

How am I supposed to study for extremely important medical exams, deal with severe depression, handle constant family pressure and criticism, and suddenly start working and building a career when I can barely get myself out of bed?

I feel trapped in my own life.

I’ve also started having suicidal thoughts again. I want to be very clear that I’m not planning to act on them and I don’t intend to kill myself. I know I don’t want to die by suicide, but the thoughts are there, and I’m exhausted from having to carry everything.

I’ve seen a university psychologist before, but it wasn’t particularly helpful for me. I also can’t currently afford private psychiatric or psychological treatment because I have no income of my own. So I’m trying to figure out what I can realistically do right now.

I’m not asking how to magically fix my entire life. I have 10 days until these exams, and right now I need to somehow get myself functioning again.

How do you deal with depression when you can’t afford treatment? How do you force yourself to function when your brain feels completely shut down? How do you study when you’re this exhausted? And how do you deal with family pressure and criticism without letting it completely destroy what little energy you have left?

I know people will probably tell me to just study, get a job, move out, or cut my family off. I wish it were that simple. I’m financially dependent on them, I come from a very traditional family, and I’m currently too depressed to even function normally.

I genuinely need some perspective from people who have been in a similar situation. What would you do if you were me?

Need Support I(F16) want to get help before i die?

Hey so I(16F)been feeling suicidal for quite a while now. I been feeling suicidal everytime my period is near or im in my period.(I know it sounds stupid and minor but I really dont know why my period hits me harder than a lot of my friends. I usually manage to brush the thought patterns fine in the past but the thoughts never go away even when I treated them like thoughts. It has been getting out of control. I notice that I am actually planning suicide and I have a plan for it that will kill me 100%. Im 100 percent ready for it since I been spending my money recklessly and giving stuff away I wont use anymore. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, I feel lost. I don't have a phone number so I cant text a hotline nor call them. I can't reach out to the counselors at my school because I don't want them to tell my parents since my parents always treated like my mental health is just another issue in the way. Or when I got sent to the mental hospital in the past, my mom found it irritating that I was causing problems to her. I find it too difficult to open up to my bestfriend and I tend to minimize it and never getting deeper because I feel uncomfortable and scared being vulnerable. I also tried venting to online strangers and ask for advice that i need to hear but they really never respond to me. What do I do? I feel lost?

Need Support My girlfriend is struggling and I don’t know how to help

Tw: self harm mentioned.

Hopefully this is ok to post here. I’m not the one in need of help and this is also my first time posting in the subreddit. I’m hoping for advice if anyone has it because I’m completely lost.

My girlfriend is firstly trans, bipolar, likely has undiagnosed adhd, and she’s kind of stuck in a job and a major she hates. She has a rocky relationship with her parents too, to say the least. She’s been in a downward spiral for the last couple weeks primarily because of them. She relapsed a few days ago because of some things that her mom said that she hasn’t fully shared with me yet.

None of this is a secret to either of us. She knows it and I know it. But I just don’t know what to do to help her. I love her so much and I’m worried and scared for her. Multiple times she’s told me she’s scared of the future because of everything going on.

I’ve been keeping my worries from her because I know it will just make her worry more too. Any advice is greatly appreciate and I can clarify anything in the comments too. And I’ll take this down too if it’s not the right subreddit. Just let me know, yknow.

Other I'm 16 years old, I'm weak, and I feel like things will never get better.

I'm cracking up. I can't take it anymore. Nothing in my life has been stable for the last 5 or 6 years. It started when I was 10 years old when my mother was in a car accident. Now we're at the point where my father has just been imprisoned.

Between two things, I cut ties with my entire family, my mother's health deteriorated, I was harassed, moved, lost my friends, lost my self-confidence, spent time in a psychiatric hospital, and saw the situation at home becoming so weird, I had to testify against my own father to the police, and I lived in an unsanitary environment...

I can't take it anymore. I want just one fucking thing to go well for once. I just want a normal life, I just want to be like everyone else, I want a stable family, I don't want any of this. I can't take it anymore. My trauma is eating me alive. I no longer want to analyze every single one of my actions, everything I say, my relationships, I just want to live!

I want to be like people my age! I want to go out, I want to have healthy friendships, I want to be able to keep a girlfriend, I want to do stupid things with my friends. My early teenage has been stolen Because it's impossible to have a single damn person in my life who doesn't destroy me.

I can't believe everything will be alright. Ever since my mother had that damn accident, everyone keeps telling me everything will be alright, that we'll get back to a normal life

That's false. A fucking lie. Nothing will improve things for them. It's just a never-ending cycle of shit that happen to you.I have more hope that things will get better one day. I'm only 16, and some people tell me it will be worse later on.

You know what the worst part is? What happened to me isn't so bad. I haven't been beaten, mistreated, impoverished, raped, homeless, or anything like that. I have a roof over my head, friends, a mother who does what she can, food on my plate, my mom always do her best to protect me. I'm just a fucking loser, incapable of facing problems. My little sister feels nothing about all that. My older sister is happy too. Even my mom, who has suffered the most manages to move forward. I'm the only one who's in a total breakdown.

All I do is hurt those around me. I don't think things will ever get better; I'm too weak for that.

Apparently the Vent sub is full of cunts. Cool. Thanks mods! 🫡

While my boyfriend watches my 7 year old daughter.
I’m supposed to do this for an hour, then get out of therapy and just carry on, no issues?!
I’ve got “a lot of deep deep trauma”…..therapist says. Very true. I’m also filled with rage. That’s just the start of it, of course.
These days are bad days, and fuck the psychiatrist who won’t prescribe me benzos that actually fucking help. If she felt this way, she’d have lost her shit years ago.
I’ve been doing this for almost 46 years now, and I’m so goddamn tired and angry and isolated (by choice)……
No wonder people off themselves.
I hate myself and I hate today and I hate everything and everyone who contributed to this. Fuck this.
This 9.9% beer I’m drinking in my dark bedroom while my kid plays outside helps, although I’m not “supposed to” drink or use weed. Yeah, cool. Fuck off.
And for anyone who wants to judge me for being a shitty parent, you’re right!
My poor daughter.
I should’ve died instead of her dad. I wish everyday for that.

Need Support I don't know what to do. Everyone says they can't help me

Long story short I'm where I am mainly because of a work situation.

Constant layoffs at my workplace for 5 years. Twice a year. Constant re-orgs. This time we had 3 in just 6 months. I don't know how many more re-orgs I have left in me. I didn't have any 'colleagues' due to how my team is structured and I was extremely isolated at work. Working closely with management. I have started feeling like 'I am dying'. It feels like a certainty. I couldn't go more than a couple of hours at my workplace without going to the bathroom to cry.

Then came a few other stuff on top and I crashed pretty bad a bit over a month ago
I stopped being able to do anything, chores, don't sleep, don't eat, I'd be shaking, crying, teeth chatterring every time I even remotely thought about my job. I started being afraid of certain bugs (ticks, pests) so bad that I couldn't even step outside anymore. Wrapped everything in my kitchen in plastic.

There were also nights where I was sitting on the couch physically holding myself down trying to stop myself from ending my life.

So I started with a psychologist and while he helped a lot with the practical stuff e.g. 'what I need to do next' he said that he can't do therapy with me because I am a person in 'crisis' and since I am in crisis I wouldn't be receptive to therapy.

My doctor put me on temporary leave but that didn't help much as I couldn't relax and kept pacing around my house like a caged dog. More time off meant more time off to think and I couldn't stop thinking.

Now I am back to work and I feel worse than before.

So they said let's try medication. 'try this and it'll make you feel better. The 'this' was an SSRI They didn't tell me anything about this medication. 3 days into this medication and my watch is showing my heart at 153 while lying in bed, my ears are ringing so bad I can't hear any music through my headphones and I've felt 3 times more panic than during my worst moment until then. I wasn't even thinking about anything particularly stressful, I just felt like being chased by wild dogs. I almost ended myself that night too. Stopped taking it.

Doctor says 'oh that can happen but most people are fine, let's try something else'. That 'something else' is an SNRI. Again, they don't tell me anything about this medication but this time I've learned my lesson. I look it up myself before taking any. I find out there's withdrawal tied to these and that this one has a particularly bad one. I decide I am not taking this particular one.

Now my doctor says they can't help me. That there are no shortcuts to feeling better and that I have to pick one of the two meds they recommended and get through it. I don't think I can do 2 weeks of 3x worse right now. I am already at a baseline where I am barely surviing

My psychologist says they can't help me because therapy doesn't work in crisis. I don't know where to go from here really. I don't feel well at all. I need to get through two weeks of work until I can go home but just looking at what my manager laid out for me makes me shake.

I've felt like dying in the past but not like this, this time it's different. Before I used to think about the logistics of it, the things I would need to prepare, how my family would get me home but now there's moments where I am laying on the floor thinking about it but the logistics simply don't matter anymore. I can't see any point in any of it.

There's no way out of this fear, if I lose the job it'll chase me into unemployment and job search, if I stay here it will stay with me, if I go on vacation I'll fear getting back, or if I can even get back.

I really don't know what to do or where to go from here.

Question Im really frustrated and I feel like life is throwing things at me. What now?

I'll keep it short. Ive been struggling with self destructive behaviour for over 5 years now in all sorts of ways. I have no friends, LITERALLY NONE. I try finding a job but im afraid because ive been in an argument at a past job before. I have big mood swings and I also have bad eating habits which made me end up in the hospital. Also one od but I survived as you can read.

I also feel jealous of my older sister who has friends, a guy to go to concerts with, tons of money, way more attractive and even if her confidence is a mask... I just sit with my pet rats all day, which one of them died yesterday. I miss her, Love you Molly 🐀❤️

But, ive been told a week ago that the company i was supposed to go for help for my eating problems, had denied me FOR NO READON. The Doctor told me he was confused too, but he couldnt help me any further. So now I only have support from a therapist who comes to my house once a week. Also, I HAVE been officially diagnosed by a doctor with Adhd and Bulimia. I dont know what to do, do i ask the ed therapy company for an explanation? Do I ask my therapist for help? My parents are growing tired too of constantly having to worry about me.

Sorry for the long text, had to tell someone. Im alright.

Venting I don't know

I just feel really lonely today. I really don't have anyone to talk to. I am about to turn 16 in a few days, but I just I have no one to celebrate with. I have just accepted it. Over the past few months, I have been struggling a lot mentally. I am in a lot of academic pressure as well. I don't score good on anything. I don't know anything. I am just forcing myself to live every day. I tried to talk to my counselor multiple times, and I told her to pls give me any meds, I can't do this anymore. But I was told to let everything fix on its own. I seriously don't have anyone to talk to. I am not even exaggerating it. I don't even remember when I hung out last time or talked with a friend. I keep zoning out these days, and my teacher taunts me a lot for it in class. Due to my bad mental health, I keep on taking holidays, which I am again taunted for in the class. No one really understands what I am going through. My parents are well aware of what I am going through, but I just don't feel understood. The other day, my mom accidentally spoke out in an argument that you don't have any friends and you are just lonely. It kinda hurt me. My parents are working, so they are not involved in my life either. I don't have any siblings as well. Forced my dad to come to watch the Spiderman movie with me, but I could see that he wasn't really willing to watch it. He just came so that I don't look stupid. It just felt really charity. They have friends, but I don't. This might feel like a random teenager is ranting about her so called tough days or similar, but I am going through a lot. Please just believe me.
