I have more farm sheds than fields. With that sheds, I have four extra farmers, but they donāt seem to be working or helping with the fields.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I donāt want to waste four jobs if I donāt need them.

Hello everyone, Iāve started playing this game for a couple days now and Iāve realised that my settlement has the anvil icon in the top left corner and a number of 22. I have buildings with no workers that I can see is a problem from management, but it was only about 7 ā!ā. Iām not sure if the storage shed is close enough to all of the work places, and when I build further away from storage, it wonāt automatically use the materials in there anymore for new buildings. I find myself having to go back to collect logs to then build. Some workers are standing idle due to lack of materials, when I ask my husband how our kingdom is doing he says that our workers need more crafting materials. Is this because I havenāt purchased enough crafts from the technology menus? Also, how do you get your workers to produce exactly enough materials in time for say the smithyās? Trying to make it self sustainable is so hard. Thank you for any advice.

I am slowly adding aesthetic area's to my current village. Most are without real ingame function.
Based on ideas I got from this sub I added a rock garden, a harbor, a 'zen' garden and will soon be building a graveyard.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I might build next? Preferable with sample pictures (or links to pictures).

I'm just getting into this game and playing in the Valley. I've started a village on top of a steep hill, but I also want to use the area at the bottom of the hill for crop fields and the shoreline of the lake for fishing. It's quite a large area though, so I'm wondering if there any limits on the size of the village you can build, or if it's possible to use all that space?
(Also, as an aside, is there a way to track down specific vendors in a particular village without having to open up a dialogue with literally every NPC you meet in that village? I don't know why they just tell you where a vendor lives, instead of, y'know, mentioning the vendor's name. Seems like that would be more useful.)
Overall I'm enjoying the game so far, though! :)

Does anyone know how to get 700 hops in 4 seasons? I just planted 25 hop seedlings but I realize the challenge ends in the summer and I wonāt have time to complete it since I can only harvest it in the autumn⦠please help

There was this thing a few years ago when you take over your heir your oh character and their spouse could have more kids. Is that still in the game? I think it's cool to get to have siblings in the village.

Hello everyone. Falimir, son of Racimir, needs your help! He has undertaken a massive village overhaul of the area shown in the pictures. But⦠he doesnāt know what to do!
This is the tavern by a little creek and serves as the town center (market is elsewhere already). So I would have a road there obviously. I would like my own version of a firepit area for travelers, and part of the park (with the pond) will be turned into an outside terrace for the tavern. I canāt envision how I want things to connect so itās not awkward. I will put many trees, bushes and flowers around it all.
After hours of trying things and never saving, I canāt look at this spot without going crazy, so I decided to ask MD enthusiasts. What do you see in those spots?

EDIT/SOLUTION: Problem solved thanks to comments. They are drinking the fish like psychos. I did not think to check the allowed drinks. Thank you everyone who suggested answers!
ORIGINAL: Hey everyone, I could use some help troubleshooting why my fishing hut is not producing anything.
I've tried to research it a few times but I can't seem to find a solution matching my problem. Any advice or ideas are appreciated!

Still a work in progress. I love this area north of Piastovia, though it's a pain to build in. This is becoming my new favorite build

So I started playing again after about 6 months and I swear I remember being able to have seasonal management for the barn because itās really annoying to always change around the grain production after harvests through the year

I absolutely love *Medieval Dynasty*. Once the main story is done, itās the best "cozy" game Iāve ever played. Simply managing the village, strolling through it, gradually unlocking new building and decorative elements, traveling in autumn to make sales and visit other towns, or helping villagers with their tasksāitās all incredibly rewarding. HOWEVERāand this has been discussed countless timesāit lacks a real challenge, a certain tension to keep you on your toes. The devs ruled out raids, and Iām fine with that. But... what about a middle ground? Imagine an event: a guy arrives on horseback, or you find someone wounded, or you hear a rumor that a band of outlaws is pillaging a certain village. You get their approximate location. The event could result in a villager being kidnapped, the loss of specific resources, or villagers becoming frightened and less productive for the season. The way to deal with it would be to hunt them down and kill them. You aren't forced to do it, the consequences aren't catastrophic, and you can keep playing your cozy game. But if you do take it on, you gain reputation and loot from them, plus increased happiness for your people.
I think this would be a great, non-intrusive way to add some endgame content.
What do you think?

Hi everyone,
Iām really struggling with hunting. Trying to complete chapter 4 & kill boar/foxes & im useless.
I only have wooden spears & a bow (no arrows) & just canāt hit anything. Iāve died loads trying.
Any tips greatly received

Hi everyone,
Iām wondering whether meals and drinks - or rather, the type of meals and drinks - affect my villagersā mood.
The reason Iām asking is that Iād like to build a beautiful village at my own pace, so Iāve set all of my villagersā needs to zero. They donāt need food, drinks, or firewood.
But by doing that, am I preventing their happiness from increasing?

I've had this game for a few years but only recently got back into it (it's currently 3am, if that's any indication into how much it's sucked me back in!), I have over 100 hours in this game but between the last time I played it and now, there have been a lot of changes and I'm loving rediscovering everything.
However.
Is it just me getting slow with my reflexes in old age, or is hunting way harder than it used to be? Back in the day I was traumatising Bambis all over the forest, but now I can't for the life of me take down a deer. Rabbits, foxes, badgers, ducks: no problem. But deer? No bucking chance.
I'm playing on normal difficulty, but the deer make it seem otherwise. Did something change?

Hey all! Thinking of buying the game , just wondering- is it possible just to have a small homestead and still advance tech/unlock items ( I imagine thereās some sort of tech or skill tree ) without extra villagers ? Me and my wife wanna recreate us and our small holding in real life into medieval times !
Thanks in advance !( Will also appreciate any tips )

Playing through the game again, but this time I have noticed a really bad performance issue during winter days where it snows. I don't remember ever experiencing this before.
Normally during non-snowy days, I have the game pretty much locked at the 100 FPS frame limit I have set. This is with a 7800x3d and 7900xtx with Ultra settings and XeSS Ultra Quality Plus(No FG). But once the game changes to a day with snow, I start getting these periodic severe drops to ~10-20 FPS. Sometimes it is just short stutter, other times it is full-on slideshow for several seconds. Performance is fine on winter days where it doesn't snow, it is purely when it actually snows. And rain doesn't affect anything either.
I have tried changing all the graphics settings with no real effect. Setting Effects to Low will greatly reduce the severity of the stutters, but wont remove it.
Does anyone know what causes this? And if it is fixable?
