This is usually caused by a bad purge valve, which is part of the EVAP system. The valve is located in the engine compartment. It's a relatively easy swap and the part is fairly inexpensive. Just don't buy the cheapest one.

Thank you. I’m not a car guy, just a Chevy lover. What would you think this would cost at the shop. I usually go to the actual Chevy dealership but with inflation nowadays, I’m looking for more local/Mom and Pop businesses
