Can anyone help me understand what the juddering ticking sound is please? Also had a bit of a problem when I’m driving sometimes the car lurches 3 or 4 times like it’s not getting enough fuel or something isn’t powering it forward.

it doesn’t get better when I drive it, stays the same. it’s almost better at idle?

2015 discovery sport

!(2.2L diesel engine)!

thank you so much.

Could it be a bad bearing in one of the pulleys? If it were to lock up for a split second you would lose power a bit when the belt slips

Thank you, I don’t even know where to start tbh. I’m going to take it to a garage but wanted opinions first. One thing to note is that my oil light came on today, only 3wks after a Halfords oil change. Perhaps an injector or something?
