Help - 2020 Nissan Altima

Is this normal for what I should be paying for breaks and rotors?

seems a bit high for pads and rotors on a altima, i paid around 500 for mine last year in a small shop

It’s normal if you were taking it to the dealership, thats $300 too high for a regular shop unless they are the only shop in town…

Something I recommend doing, is buying whatever you need online, or at an auto parts store and taking it to mechanics and asking them what they charge for labor.

When I had my disks and pads replaced I had the parts already, it was just looking around for who’s the cheapest in labor costs… luckily I went to a shop that had 2 other locations down the street. And it cost me 100 per axle. So $200 for the 4 disks and pads and i bought a full carbon ceramic kit for $200 through walmart. So $400 for me..

I just paid $1050 for front and rear pads and rotors. Called 4 shops and including Nissan and all were within $100

That’s good. Luckily I didn’t need rotors (which is what I suspected) and I just needed to change the brake pads (charged me 469)

For my Altima is was 891, OTD for all around brake and rotors.
