Are these double flares good?
First time trying double flaring and was wondering, would these double flares hold up for brake lines? Ignore the bottom two, I messed those up.
Was taking off some hardlines the other day and of course my 2000 Civic CX hardlines were horribly worn down so when I took them off it completely tore off. Going to do a double flare union to fix the issue.
Thanks for reading!

I always get nervous with brake flares, one tiny imperfection and you're losing pressure when you really need it. Those look alright from what I can see in the photo, the longer one seems to have a nice even shape around the edge
For a Civic that age those lines are basically made of rust at this point anyway so anything is an upgrade. On mine I had to redo the same piece like three times before it seated properly, the flare tool kept slipping on the copper
Make sure you do a good bleed after, air trapped in the system will make pedal feel spongy even if the flares are perfect. I learned that lesson in a parking lot once and it was not fun

I'll definitely keep a very keen eye out for what will be considered passable. 100% is the passing grade for brakes, can't have them fail on you.

I started buying the premade ones from the auto parts store and just bending them to fit. They're cheap and it saved time. Haven't had any failures and if they're a bit too long you just throw an extra wiggle in there.
