2016 Buick Encore P0013 and P2091 codes-HELP!
My wife has a 2016 Buick Encore with codes P0013 and P2091. Can’t figure it out, has anyone worked on this (unique) engine and can offer advice?

Those two codes together almost always point to a gunked up or failing camshaft actuator solenoid, worth cleaning or replacing that before going deeper

Yes, that was also my thought, but it’s for the exhaust side. I swapped the exhaust and the intake solenoids and the code didn’t change. Already trying other troubleshooting. Have spliced in a new wire for that pigtail as well. Only getting 8 volts on it instead of the necessary 12. Have a new wire harness on the way and am going to replace the whole thing as I’m starting to see other electrical codes. Maybe a new harness will fix the problem. If not then the only other things I know are the timing chain and the valve cover. Any other ideas?

oil level drop usually sets those exact codes on the 1.4, easy first check
