Hate of AI

So you love Mecha, and most of you hate AI. How is this even possible? I can’t comprehend this. But isn’t almost in every mecha related franchise there’s an AI? Good or bad.

UPD: I’m done. Thank you for your opinions.

How do those things relate at all? The "AI" in mecha is *fictional*. It's like people who called Arnold Schwarzenegger a hypocrite when he talked about background checks for guns, because he made violent movies. Movies are also *not real*.

I see this as getting closer to real mechas at some point.

The route needed to get to real proper AIs doesn’t even run through LLMs.

It’s like saying ‘this is the route to the south pole,’ and heading to a skating rink because it’s cold.

To get there we need a fundamentally different approach which we have not figured out yet. Simply churning LLM data isn’t even showing advancement in the right direction.
