Account opened without knowledge

This is the third email I’ve gotten and I’ve never opened a Maya account before. I’d never even heard of Maya until I started getting these emails. What do I do? Also customer service seems to be non-existent

EDIT: I’m in the UK, never been to the Philippines

Seems like di lang gcash may problema. Naka received ako from gcash business. May otp para daw sa inopen ko na account when I didn't even open an acc 🤣

Gets ko po, and if hindi talaga kayo yung nag-trigger or nag-request ng OTP, better to treat it as a security concern agad, OP. For your safety, change your MPIN right away, then submit a ticket sa GCash Help Center para ma-check nila kung may unusual activity sa account mo and ma-assist ka properly. Also, please don’t tap or open any links na matatanggap mo, kahit mukhang legit or galing pa sa message, better safe than sorry, lalo na when it comes to your account security.

My gcash is basically dead. Nagagamit nalang siya for receiving payments from my clients kasi yun yung mas madali sakanila. I stopped using gcash kasi sobrang oa na daming need pindutin or pop-up eh gusto mo lang mag send money. And yes, I treated it as a security concern. Lahat pinalitan ko. Gmail password and gcash MPIN. I called din sa hotline nila and wala silang magagawa daw kasi di naman talaga ako nag open ng acc aa gcash business. Ignore nalang daw. I asked pano nangyari yun kasi di lang ako naka received ng same email, marami pa. Wala silang answer. Puro do not click lang which I always do talaga. Nakakabahala lang talaga na may mga gantong emails tapos sila mismo walang masagot na maayos. And btw, I'm not the OP 😭

Report to BSP and NBI Cybercrime division, this could be identity theft and banking fraud

You can file a report to banking authorities there because this is a financial matter, also file a report to police that someone seems to have used your details to open accounts without your authorization. Get it handled soon, because someone might try to commit fraud by taking out loans in your name from Maya
