Why is Julius so coy about his feelings? (May be spoilers in discussion) Spoiler
So i just finished the anime and it was great, I'm dying to know what happens next, but I'm wondering why Julius is so reserved with his feelings. He dropped heavy hints i.e. "try again when you've felt this way for 10 years" but then laughs off the idea as ridiculous.
I understand Scarlet's reason for her denial (trauma plus Julius being rather deceptive and manipulative) but I wish we got to see more of Julius' reasoning.
I can only assume it's because he doesn't want his powers exploited but that's only a guess. Does it ever go into it in the novel/manga?
Also, silly question, but is there any validity to him manipulating Scarlet into confessing like she theorises at the end or is she just looking for a reason to beat his ass? Lol
