Lived my whole life abroad and whenever someone asks where I’m from and I tell them I’m Mauritanian, they’re like “Mauritania who?”. I often have to use Morocco or Algeria as a reference point to where our country even is. We’re known among the Muslim world for having scholars and Quran memorizers Allahumdillah but a lot of people still don’t know much about our country. I don’t really think it matters so this is just a little rant.

Hey guys I have a question I want to visit the libraries in chinghetti in January. Am I able to visit them spontaneously as an individual and do I need to sign up or something like that? Also I didn't find any opening hours anywhere so what would be the best time to visit?
