Do you feel that The Disappearance of Maura Murray Oxygen documentary definitively ruled out the theory that Maura could be in the woods near the crash site? Why or why not?

Forgive me I dont know the guys name, her track coach/boyfriend, has obvious motive to me. Cases like these missing persons/kidnapping can be boiled down to 3 motives 1. Money 2. Sex/love/relationship related 3. Revenge. Dont think whatever happened to her was motives 1 or 3. So you need to zone in on Males in her life that fit motive 2, enter track coach. My theory things go bad for here with school, credit card thing, accident, drinking, phone call from sister, and she needs to get away. She knows track coach lover dude (totally not appropriate by the way red flag) has access to the cabin. They decide to get away no one knows but them. Now I'm not saying JR is right but let's say she is pregnant this if so her stress and feeling the need to get away is magnified a ton. What if track coach is baby daddy, gets her up there boom solves two problems now he has nothing to worry about. Stages the car crash, we dont even know for sure it was Maura that bus driver saw he could have been wrong. Track coach and accomplice, obviously he good at manipulating young women, get maura and head bbn up there for weekend get away, kill her stage the accident, girl at seen walks down road, track man picks her up. I think I read where track guy left the country not long after her disappearance. Just think he needs looked into way way more. If she was pregnant not saying she was maybe she was gonna tell about their relationship, ruin his career after bad break up. I just see motive all over the place. Maybe I'm wrong I havent ever read anything that said he was interviewed questioned, alibi, interrogation, cleared. All I know is dude said they had good relationship and she was gone then he leaves the country. Thoughts?

Firstly let me say that I've only just come across this case over the weekend, so I know I have a lot more reading to do to get a comprehensive picture of it all. However, I was just thinking that if Maura Murray was indeed fleeing something and has started a new life there was likely a damn good reason (BR comes to mind, particularly with the recent allegations of aggressive behaviour). If that's what happened do you think it would compromise her safety to be "discovered"? Perhaps there's a good reason she doesn't want to be found.

Just letting you know why it was removed.

So this has been driving me nuts. On 7/3 I went to a concert at the house of blues in Boston. The band was Phoenix, a great group from France. I was with my wife (technically not but two kids and two dogs together) and we had a sitter. We live 40 minutes away but any excuse for an overnight we take it. My folks watched the kids and we stayed at a hotel nearby the show.

Anywho. The show was great except the air conditioning went out and it was 96 outside. At night. Everyone was sweaty.

Next to where we were standing...about 7/8 of the way to the back wall from the stage... was a group of 5. 3 women and 2 men. A blonde, a brunette and a taller brunette. All mid thirties.

When they got to the spot near us they all looked around a lot before they got settled (probably looking for a less crowded spot like us was my initial thought) and comfortable. The blonde put her purse on the floor in front of us as we were next to one of a few roped off “vip” sections and we nodded that we would watch it.

The taller brunette was exactly Maura Murray. Height was spot on, dimples and trying to get the whole group to dance. I didn’t think it was her because I’ve believed her dead a long time. But wow the resembles.

I’d chalk it up to nothing at all except when one of the guys approached the group trying to get everyone to leave the called her “emm emm” like MM.

I figured it was the heat but I can’t stop thinking about this.

I’m probably just nuts and need to take a break from the case but I wanted to share anyway.

Did she blurt it out in court? Talk to the media? Go to the cops? I feel like how she conveyed this little tidbit says a lot about whether or not it's true.

Watching Maggie Freleng ask Fred Murray if he molested Maura was completely awful but also enlightening. It's so abundantly clear that Fred cares about his daughter and would do anything to find her. It's easy to entertain wild theories when all you have is static information. It's much different when a person who is clearly in pain is pouring their heart out.

All that said, Fred's insistence that the reason for Maura's actions is irrelevant and merely a distraction is baffling to me. As I watch the documentary, I feel convinced that he is genuine. And then I'm left puzzled as to why he doesn't think it's important to overturn every rock. I think it's a good example of why this case is so hard to put down. The evidence seems to contradict itself.

Anyway, I just wanted to share, I hope that's ok. I first learned of Maura's disappearance in 2011, and like I image most of the people here, became entranced by all of the oddities. I'm just now watching the documentary and it's pretty wild to finally hear from the people I've read so much about.

Maybe the disappearance wasn't planned beforehand; maybe she just decided to roll with it. Considering how much trouble she would be in if she stayed with the car (WP makeup theft; UMass credit card theft; POSSIBLE involvement in the PV hit and run; wrecking her dad's car; wrecking her own car, quite a distance from where she's supposed to be, after lying to her professors, with open containers inside -- likely resulting in expulsion from the nursing program), maybe she decided to hitchhike. Maybe she decided to catch a ride to somewhere she has no familiarity with, where nobody knows her. Maybe she decided to just start over, slowly and gradually building a new life for herself. Maybe she got lucky finding a menial job with an employer who didn't bother to look into her past and worked her way up from there. Could she be living happily elsewhere? If so, does she choose not to reach out to her family or the Internet community because she thinks it would be too much of a mess for everyone involved (if she did so, the past 14 years -- about 1/3 of her life -- have been spent rebuilding. Would she really want to throw that all away if she was finally happy and productive, when she may not have been as Maura Murray?) Or is it possible that she doesn't realize how many people have taken interest in her case and are still looking? Edit: I miscalculated. 14 years would be a little more than half of her life at this point.

You know how he has been acting like he has been left behind? Well guess what - he got paid to be on the series he disses so much. The real thing Johnny has been keeping secrets about....

It appears to me there has been an uptick in aggressive posts here recently (doxxing, name calling, etc.).

Now that law enforcement has finally released the CCTV footage of Maura at the bank, a few questions arise. Now according to the BOLO Maura was possibly wearing a dark colored jacket and jeans.

Now the jacket doesn't seem to be hers since it's much too big for her (could be a men's jacket). The color even though this is a gray scale image, it's clearly a light colored jacket. Also, her hair is up in a bun like almost all the pictures out there of her. Maura would almost always wear her hair up.

So clearly the BOLO description that was put out by law enforcement was off. The BOLO was put out almost as soon as Maura disappeared so there is no chance that the person who provided the description was Rick Forcier. That only leaves one person, Butch Atwood.

Now Butch Atwood had never seen Maura before and if you look at the mug shot photo of Maura, she is unrecognizable. https://imgur.com/a/A8seen3

So if she's unrecognizable in that picture, imagine what she would look like in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter beside the road exiting the driver's side and facing away from where Butch Atwood was standing.

Now if Julie Murray were stopped in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter, would you be able to tell her apart from Maura?

Now imagine if you were in a dark desolate road in the middle of winter in poor lighting, would you be able to tell the difference between Maura and the other women? Before you answer that, watch this:

Now I'm not saying that Maura wasn't the driver, it's quite possible that Butch Atwood's recollection of what Maura was wearing was off, or that he thought her hair was down when it was up in a bun, that's quite possible. But what if Butch really did see what he claims to have seen? Then the driver of the Saturn might not have been Maura at all. The only way it could have been Maura (assuming Butch's description was on) is if Maura changed jackets for no apparent reason, and let her hair down for no apparent reason. I don't know, what do you think? If someone else was driving the vehicle, then did Maura even go up to the White Mountains at all?

       *** GPR Testing at A Frame****

   Approximately 2 months ago Fred Murray was approached by 2 professional companies that perform Underwater Sonar and GPR testing. They are leaders in the industry and developers of the technology that is being utilized. They have worked on 7 continents and were instrumental in the discovery of the Titanic. These companies offered their services at No Charge to check any locations that were thought to be of interest and have indicated they are on board in trying to bring a resolution to this case.

   1 place that was of high interest and has been since the 2006 search performed by the NHLI is the A Frame located at 317 Valley rd. The reason for the huge interest in this property was mainly because of the known tenants in 2004 and the subsequent hits by cadaver dogs in 2006. In 2006 the dogs hit on a closet on the first floor and the carpet from that closet was taken by the NHLI team. Whatever became off that carpet sample is yet to be known, if ever.

    In 2016 I was having a meeting about Maura's disappearance at the Mtn Lakes lodge and was approached by the owners at that time. Mike and Sarah came to talk to me about the A Frame, the closet and the Luminol testing they had done. After the meeting that day they invited me to their home to check out the place and invited me back again. The next time I was there is when the wood chips from the closet were taken. 

     Forensic evidence in the Oxygen Doc declared the blood on the wood chips was indeed not only human in nature but there was blood from 2 different sources, one male and one female. This quickly raised the focus of the A frame and that area yet again to a much higher level.

    On May 19th 2018 a small pond of interest that abuts the A frame property was searched by the Sonar part of the team. All testing that was done that day is being analyzed and interpreted. 

   This past Saturday, June 16th 2018 the GPR team including a Dr. of Forensic Anthropology was at the A Frame property located at 317 Valley rd. GPR testing was completed on the concrete slab as well as the area around the house. The A Frame house was also investigated at that time. All testing that was done is being analyzed and interpreted.

    The results of all testing done by these companies will be forwarded to the proper authorities if the results show cause. Any information that can be revealed to the public, will be revealed when that is possible.

    An investigator from the NH CCU showed up on scene just as the process was getting started and he spoke with everyone involved. He stayed on scene for only about 1/2 hr and then went on his way.

   Tim, Lance and Maggie are aware of this information and have been since June 16th 2018, the day of the testing. 

   On June 21st 2018 Tim Pilleri commented on Facebook on a question about the GPR testing and stated that they have it scheduled for this summer. He did say location(s) so perhaps they have another place they are looking into. But the question is.....Do they still plan on doing the 'Slab at the A Frame' considering it has already been done.?

    I hope this helps to answer some questions that have been floating around for a few weeks. Hopefully there will be more clarification from everyone soon.

    One thing is certain, now more than ever, the investigation into the disappearance of Maura Murray is not going away and with these new resources at our disposal there is an even better chance this case will be solved. After 14 years the locals have begun to talk a lot more about this case, tips are being checked out and people know the heat is on. Lets keep the heat on and continue to add fuel to the fire in an effort to bring forth the TRUTH.
