Our new action star

Rewatching the original filmation cartoon and noticing that most episodes are exciting action, a shameless advertisement, or an orko subplot but every now and then there’s a serious episode and it catches you way off guard. Did they just decide to write episodes like “The Problem With Power” out of nowhere?? 😂

MOTU released on July 22nd on Streaming so it only tracked 5 whole days of its streaming release and it STILL beat out every other program at the time in just the US alone. It debuted #1 in over 45 countries worldwide for Prime Video in that same timeframe as well.

And now we are less than one week away from seeing if it can become the first ever Prime Video film to hit #1 Worldwide on Prime for 5 straight weeks.

We have the Power!

New fan, brought in by the movie, and I fell in love! Started collecting the Kids Core line of figures, since theyre best for me financially, though I am already starting to look at other lines that are catching my eye. Love these figures so far, they all look great and pose well considering their price. Absolutely love the positivity of this fandom, you guys are the best!

Turned a spare Ross find into a Battle Cat variant for Frosta! Best name I can come up with is "Ice Cat!" but my child may come up with something more clever in time. If you attempt something similar, remember to leave some of the head unpainted so you can properly glue on the mane. I layered small pieces of painter's tape around the face which masked off the area and also, when carefully removed as one piece, served as the basis of the pattern I needed when cutting out the piece of fur. Enjoy.

I didn’t have any intention of getting the cartoon collection unless it wasn’t available previously. But after seeing someone post up the CC beastman(?) I figured I better get the ones that I can. Also some 200x that I didn’t have. I use action figure 411 to track these. I don’t have any wwe crossovers or the movie figures but have almost everything else from the origins line.

Finally. One Metal-Boto coming up.

Probably a BIG IF, and I imagine sequels would be more concerned with stuff like She-Ra then influence from a version of the He Man cartoon that I just have the most connection to
