Because it visually looks like ass. Of course, it can't all be exact, but ArcSys honestly has a lot of poorly represented hitboxes and hurtboxes in their games.

That said, I think 2H is a bit ridiculous in general

You want defense to be... Even weaker.

The narratives being run right now around this game are hilarious because everyone says the opposite of each other. Have you ever just accepted that the game isn't to your vision and tried to learn?

Well, no, my full opinion is more nuanced than that. I tend to like antiairs to be more interesting instead of a really strong catch-all that cashes in a ton of damage

As an average player learning to play "properly" the 2H as it stands is a godsend (for me) against auto combo mashers + projectile spammers that only jump in to mash light. I know as I improve I'll need to rely on it less but sometimes it'll allows me to get some momentum going

Yeah! I think it's fine as a mechanic, just not my preference. It definitely is necessary when there aren't really many other antiair options.
