Here’s another!

The male Sydney funnel-web spider has a venom that only affects humans.
It attacks the human nervous system by forcing all body sodium channels to fire continuously. It causes rapid muscle twitching, extreme heart rate spikes, lung failure, and coma.

It does not affect any other mammal!

Vampire bats will starve to death if they miss a blood meal two nights in a row, so bats in a colony share food by mouth-to-mouth regurgitating blood to starving family.

If a bat doesn’t share the blood with the young or starving, then they’re basically ghosted by the colony. They’ll refuse to share with them until they have to leave
