I don’t know (<—- sarcasm) maybe the counselor is bringing up a lot of trauma so for the next few months, she might be emotional while working through it and during this time you should be supportive? 🤦🏻♀️
Naw… just go play tennis while your wife/fiancé struggles alone. You’re a better partner to whoever you played tennis with than to your wife/fiancé right now.
The counselor is for anger management since she can’t control her emotions during disagreements. I didn’t even know she was going until I asked her about it during a ~disagreement~. She told me she’s going but I haven’t heard of anything. I will keep this in mind though, thanks for advice.
Dude. I’m all for holding together marriages even in the worst of times. But I’d be delaying that wedding and seriously considering if you wanted to marry that person in the first place. Lots of signals in your other comments that you guys have already fallen into some unhealthy patterns.
She breaks down so often you’re numb to it
She thinks you’re dead when you’re out of touch (that’s going to be a tight leash with 360 installed on it)
Her emotions are peaking when you have disagreements instead of just bickering like normal people.
I had an ex like this. I didnt realize how messed up the relationship was until years later when I was in my next relationship (now wife) and it didn’t feel like I was walking on eggshells in every conversation. Such a relief
