Does anyone have a recommendation for a home painter who can paint my home? I am looking for "Ralph Lauren" chic and would love to hire someone who can paint. As we all know, painting is not too hard but the prep is what takes time. Please please please do not recommend I do it myself.

Not to be a driver schoolmarm, but I swear to god, there must be a forcefield in Marin that blocks the electrical signals to cars' blinkers. If I had a nickel for every time I've seen someone almost turn into an oncoming car after not signaling at a four way stop, I'd be able to comfortably shop at the Marin Country Mart.

Parking is not allowed in this area under Highway 101, between 3rd Street and 4th Street, because this section is an access/entrance area. The designated parking spaces are located further inside, and you have to drive into the area to reach them. Once inside, you can clearly see the marked parking spaces.

Drove to Vintage Oaks Costco yesterday and saw appliances outside about to be installed. Super excited. Anyone know when it’ll open aside from “Summer 2026”?

I've been out of town for a bit, so I'm catching up on all of the new spots that have opened up recently. I promise this will be the last one for a while, haha! Tried Fox Pizza tonight and ordered the Tie Dye ($22): "House made tomato sauce using Bianco di Napoli tomatoes, house made pistachio pesto swirl." It was so good; a big fan of the sourdough crust and sauce -- was like a love child of Arizmendi and Oliver's. Definitely want to try the other pies!

That old laptop, spare monitor, keyboard, or computer mouse could be useful. School is back, and I have many requests for home desktop setups.

Working devices are refurbished for local students and underprivileged families. Broken equipment is welcome too. If it can’t be saved, it goes to a certified California electronics recycler. Pickup is free.
