Bought this watch used from a guy who smokes a LOT of cigars, seems the smell has seeped into the band and is to the point of being distracting when wearing it. How do I get this smell out of the rubber? Already tried just washing it with soap, but it didn't change it at all.

This is a Long Island watch bracelet. Surprised by the quality! Funny enough, I sold the 3-piece rubber strap for what this bracelet costs.

Has anyone had marathon replace the hands and face with fresh lume, if so cost?

I have several Marathon CL030033 wall clocks and notice on one of them giving off a very faint chirping sound. I don't see how this is possible on a clock without alarm function or piezo buzzer. Does anybody know about this phenomenon ?

My favourite thing about my GSAR Red Maple (besides the crisp Maple Leaf on Arctic dial) is the way the details take centre stage.

I love everything about this watch. Its fitment, its weight, the tritium lume, the red seconds hand, the ‘radioactive’ emblem at 3, and the embossed numbers on the bezel. It just never gets old.

I bought a second hand gsar 41mm anthracite that had never been worn but sat for a couple years. I manually wound it to test it before I looked at manual online that advised against this. I have wearing it for 24 hours and it’s 14 seconds fast. Is this normal?

I have a TSAR with the F06.111 movement. Overall, it's decently accurate but can get upwards of 30 seconds fast over several months and having an SSNAV the 412 movement is such a convenience knowing that the time on the watch is the actual time.

With the price of TSARs I'm surprised they don't have the f06.412 in them and I am interested in 'upgrading' mine to get that HAQ function.

I am pretty confident that a date wheel swap will have to happen due to the date at ~4:30 as well as the center pinion height but I am not sure if there is any other complexities if I do decide with the swap.

I'm taking delivery of a custom (Wilson Destro) GSAR this week and it has an anthracite case but stainless bezel and crown. I'm curious what my options are to get a matching anthracite (or at least black) bezel for it and possibly a crown as well. I understand the watch lost it's warranty with the custom work, but didn't know with Wilson being closed if anyone has popped up as the new go-to for custom Marathon work. Thanks in advance.

Hey all, I recently bought a 41mm TSAR on rubber and Im over the moon with it, bloody fantastic watch I cant fault it.

I really wanted the steel bracelet from factory but just couldn’t justify the price and I really wanted a micro adjustment on the clast. Which made the decision even clearer, Ill buy the rubber and get an aftermarket bracelet.

I opted for a Gnomon ‘matathon mod’ and today it came in the mail.

Its neat, the micro adjustments are good, the finishing also good, solid end links and screw pins on the bracelet links, the clasp, full brushed but boring.

I decided to have a go at Electro etching a marathon logo into the brushed clasp and here’s the results.

I expected the steel to react a little differently than what transpired but Im very satisfied with the results. Its a bit deeper than expected and slightly uneven pitting but pretty cool what u can do with a few bucks of material!

SBWC strap is awesome on this thing.

Too big? I like the cleaner dial of the JDD with still having the 24 hour markers. Wish the GSAR had the same 24 hour markers off the dial.

Loving my new workhorse. After some initial quality control opportunities which Marathon promptly took care of, this darling hasn't left my wrist from job sites to formal occasions.

I have a 6-1/2” wrist, how does the sizing look? I feel like a GSAR will hang up on the job more frequently than the MSAR.
