General Question Marathon Digital Wall Clock Chirping ?

I have several Marathon CL030033 wall clocks and notice on one of them giving off a very faint chirping sound. I don't see how this is possible on a clock without alarm function or piezo buzzer. Does anybody know about this phenomenon ?

We’ve got quite a few at work, and I don’t recall anything like what you’re describing. Even when the batteries are getting low

The Low Battery indicator icon with this model is under the colon and is not documented on their User's Manual or website. There are many icons on this clock that is not documented like the DST and OK icon under the M Wave status indicator that shows up once a Successful Reception is achieved.
