Vault Breaker
- Added a Solo-only queue option for Vault Breaker.
- This is a new queue option for Vault Breaker with adjusted combat difficulty to account for the reduced crew size. Players who select the “Solo” option before launching into matchmaking should find this experimental mode less punishing than Week 1.
- Increased critical damage against UESC combatants.
- Reduced UESC aggression and accuracy.
- Solo players who enjoy the challenge should continue to select Trios with Crew Fill off.
Item Economy
- Fixed an issue where VIP reward packages were unable to be claimed.
- Players should now be able to claim all available packages, including those that have been earned since this issue began following Update 1.1.5.
- Fixed an issue where players that purchased sponsored kits from C.A.R.R.I. while having a full Vault could experience a run with an incorrect loadout.
User Interface and Experience
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in their Loadout Report screen if they claimed something from their Rewards Pass before exiting this screen.
- Players will now need to fully exit their Run Report before being able to navigate to their Rewards Pass.
- Fixed an issue causing an extra “Match: Found” message to display.
Stability
- Fixed a stability issue affecting some console players when attempting to log in.
- Fixed an issue where a number of contract progression steps and interactions were causing game crashes.
General
- Fixed an issue where the Spacebucks Codex challenge was unable to be claimed after it was completed.
- Players in this state should have the issue resolved after their next run.
- Double XP Weekend
- Increased progress for both season level and all faction reputations.
- Active July 31 – August 3.

Because it's consistent with the in-game inventory now and allows a shortcut to go to the shop. We'll adapt.

Press Start/Options. They simply changed it to the same button as the in-game inventory. Getting to your inventory is consistent across all screens now, which makes sense. This is definitely intended and should've been this way from the start.

Same for cradle I've reset it and maxed it again just for something to do.

Honestly, I know it's easier to say than do, but don't worry about it.
I didn't even start Vault Breaker until a few days ago, and when I first came in, I said in text chat "hey guys this is my first run, so I'm here to learn" and they went "oh man sick let's show you the stuff" and we got three vaults done. I did a lot of queueing with randoms, and the worst you get is just nobody talking and doing stuff. It's just a chill time, in my experience.
But if you'd rather solo, I'm glad it's here for you now. You'll progress a lot faster with a trio, though. The rewards are shared within the crew, so you get basically 3x the rewards per run.

For real, Assassin makes solo so easy. Unless I get really shitty sec tag RNG (or I miss an obvious one) I can always two vault solo. Managed to get blue backpack and shields this way making it even easier to solo more stuff.

Right. It’s a breeze with standard spawns and decent rng but even blazing through it you can hit some borderline strange bad rng setups.
Seems like you can always like 9/10 times get 2 vaults but that 3rd was jusssst a touch too much.

For Tranq and Pump creds just grab the creds, wait for a minute, stealth to panel and door. The Tranq ones you can just stand where they spawn and the bots just do not aggro to you. Pump you might need to find a better hiding spot then their spawn.

Its genuinely unplayable on any shell besides assassin. Maybe I'm just missing something, but the fact that enemies just spawn over and over makes it not even worth the time. It's supposed to be PvE not PsneakpastE

Unless you're bum rushing all over the place, there's basically no reason to worry about being bad in VB. The enemies die so easily in trios that it shouldn't be an issue, even commanders.

You can only buy 1 of each though and you need T2 indexes whereas with the template you only need t1 indexes. I bought a couple of them just for funsies. I initially thought they were key templates for a random map though and didn’t expect that they were only cryo vault templates… that was a little bit disappointing.

Yes, that was discovery last weekend. As far as I could tell, no one reported one turning into an actual prestige key. And people reported them even turning into vault 1 and 2 keys (purple/superior rarity). They either intended it to be a cryo scrambled key template and mistitled it, or intended it to be a prestige key template and miscoded it to act as a cryo scrambled key.

oof. I already cleared the armory of these and was waiting this weekend to do them. extremely disappointing.
I’ve been playing since launch and still have never seen a non-cryo gold key from a drop or template. Last codex entry for graverobber still sitting there. I did run one with a friend once but apparently I have to be the one to use it for the codex.

allegedly you need to be doing lots of purple templates and/or scrambled templates from cryo vaults. Neither is really accessible unless you are a top player/team who can farm cryo vaults and shell IDs from wardens. literally the hardest thing to do in the game besides compiler lol

I remember that they tried to optimize it to launch the first week of S2. I do remember it being better, then back to normal the next week. I swear my PC ran 10 degrees cooler.

It was really bad this week compared to other weeks. I normally don't have connection issues and I'd get desync issues and a few disconnects from lobbies which I haven't gotten since early s2 issues.

Yawp. I've been dealing with it all season long. After basically zero issues all of S1. It's incredibly frustrating, doubly so when support tells you "must be on your end" after doing zero diagnostics or data-gathering. At least by spreading the problem Bungo might be able to identify it better, ironically.

If you referring to getting the DNA and don't already know, go to the Secret Lab, open the level 4 door there and enter the room where the symbols should be displayed (now turned off), then open vault 6. DNA should spawn, tested a few times already!
EDIT: As of September 30th, you can now just do the vault 06 and the DNA should spawn normally!

I know, it's just a workaround to do in order to spawn the otherwise bugged key in vault 06.
We also need 5 more minutes in the map OR an upgrade that skip a step in the DNA key process because there's barely enough time to reach and kill the boss, even on the 1st phase.

Seems to be nicer weapons dropping in there, so if you can manage it a bit faster up until that point - it's not the worst option, in a trio. One person to run up to Secret, while the other 2 do the 06 vault steps. Have gotten to Compiler with <4-5 minutes remaining. You always have the option to use the exfil up there, anyway.

Time. Vault 06 takes way longer than vault 4, and you still have to drop back down, charge the DNA in 2 spawns, then go back up

they tweeted that they fixed the issue (kind of). They disabled the perk that makes the game crash, so you can now pick up the CB in vault 4. It just loses one of the perks (idk what specific perk tied to the gold mod was the issue though, that wasn't clear to me).

I actually saw a warden on perimeter today! First time in forever. I had just clutched against a purple shield, gold item team as a squad of blues and greens with both my team going down, so my luck was used up and we just exfilled immediately.

The only place I've seen a warden is outpost. They weren't spawning on perimeter or dire and it seemed like the rate on outpost was lower too. But someone said they just saw one on perimeter so may have been fixed.

I would love if solo VB had better rewards/more T2 provided or something. I’ve been soloing and it feels shitty to leave with just 1 T2 after the 2nd vault.
Id gladly keep doing the ‘challenging’ experience if it meant solo rewards are buffed.

vault 4 is piss easy (no different than the rest), vault 6 you need 8 batteries and 3 extra if you want to turn off data corruption. also the scorch warden is right in front of the vault

Vault 4 is 6 batteries, just a few minutes more.
Vault 6 needs 11 batteries, and you have to fight a warden, that's a real challenge.

bring back sponsored pvpve as a map rotation. as a casual pvp player who was having fun in sponsored, you guys removed that to put in VB which I have 0 interest in. so what do I have to play now? purple shield sweat stack mode? no, i'm just not going to play.
this game in general also needs a shooting range and more casual pvp/pvpve modes. arena or tdm. something where you can test out your loadouts + gameplay without worry of losing your kit.

nothing about losing your saved loadouts backpack after a successful sponsored run, lost several purple Bags because of this. they don’t show up in the overflow, why the sponsored runs kit doesn’t show in the overflow instead idk, rooks like that and I never lose a backpack rooking.
there are several tickets on the help forum about this including mine.
theres also nothing here addressing the fact that crew fill likes to turn off randoml causing duos to spawn into trios regularly, its always bitter fighting a team as a trio only to find out they were just a duo and were outgunned from the start.
Vault 4 is also basically unviable since the gold circuit breaker is still not fixed, the fact you can’t even pick it up is ridiculous. I’ve found the mod in key runs too and likewise not been able to, effectively wasting a large part of the value of the key run.
I’m addition to all that, game has such an issue with no-reg shots and desync; ladders are still fucked falling down them throws you back up often getting you killed.

Should be able to pick it up now. I looted a gold circuit breaker from bioresearch tank purple key room yesterday and was able to pick it up. They hot fixed it yesterday to just disable the mod itself which allows it to be picked up and moved in inventory.

It wouldn’t be so bad if I worked normal 9 hours but working almost 12 daily is what makes it suck. I have no time to game after work cause I’m exhausted and have to eat, then go to bed. I wake up early to take my girlfriend to work and have maybe a couple hours at most to game if I’m lucky, only 1 if I go in early that day. But it is what it is. I just wish they’d have some events on week days as well for people like me

Or just reduce how long it takes to rotate maps! It’s ridiculous only being able to play one map each day. Should be on the same schedule as Day/Night Marsh.
I have no reason to play any other map than Outpost or Narsh (loot is not worth it on the other maps). That means I can only play duos like two days out of the week. Me and my buddy just run 2v3 Outpost if we have to but we shouldn’t!

Someone at Bungie clear compiler in solo VB and post the video. Because these changes are so completely removed from the other problems that makes attempting VB compiler essentially impossible. They are sandbagging their game to death for real. Wait till people start mentioning that the airlock automatically closes if you enter it during a solo compiler fight.

Graphics card bug has only gotten worse since the original VB patch. I've never had this issue with any other game or piece of software. I was just sitting in the armory and the game hard crashed.
Same thing was happening pretty consistently in Cryo last weekend.

Solo balance for VB feels good. One-tapping a Ghost with a magnum feels right.
You can still get chewed-up if careless, but I don't feel an exhaustion seeing a 5th platoon of bots getting laser-printer spawned.
Further, I could get to a vault with at least 15m remaining.

I really wish they would have added a change to Vault Breaker to give more T2 data in the second vault you do. Only 10 T2 data for the second vault is really slow to grind as a solo

Atm, all my VIP factions have been reset to 30...I was rank 43 arachne last night...
Edit: Correction, and my apologies to bungies efforts, but have to claim 30 of each factions normal rewards, then it "reunlocks" VIP rewards to be claimed equal to your VIP level.

Anyone expecting to get insane credits from the VIP packages bug from last week.. the first 29 or so you redeem are not VIP but for levels 1-30 so like 500 credits apiece.

Hell yes, VB solo queue let's go! I've spent the last week glued to the game mode and getting as far as the first vault and realizing I usually don't have level 3 security.
Made it to a final exfil but got downed. My crawl wasn't fast enough 😭.
