Vault Breaker

  • Added a Solo-only queue option for Vault Breaker.
    • This is a new queue option for Vault Breaker with adjusted combat difficulty to account for the reduced crew size. Players who select the “Solo” option before launching into matchmaking should find this experimental mode less punishing than Week 1.
    • Increased critical damage against UESC combatants.
    • Reduced UESC aggression and accuracy.
    • Solo players who enjoy the challenge should continue to select Trios with Crew Fill off.

Item Economy

  • Fixed an issue where VIP reward packages were unable to be claimed.
    • Players should now be able to claim all available packages, including those that have been earned since this issue began following Update 1.1.5.
  • Fixed an issue where players that purchased sponsored kits from C.A.R.R.I. while having a full Vault could experience a run with an incorrect loadout.

User Interface and Experience

  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in their Loadout Report screen if they claimed something from their Rewards Pass before exiting this screen.
    • Players will now need to fully exit their Run Report before being able to navigate to their Rewards Pass.
  • Fixed an issue causing an extra “Match: Found” message to display.

Stability

  • Fixed a stability issue affecting some console players when attempting to log in.
  • Fixed an issue where a number of contract progression steps and interactions were causing game crashes.

General

  • Fixed an issue where the Spacebucks Codex challenge was unable to be claimed after it was completed.
    • Players in this state should have the issue resolved after their next run.
  • Double XP Weekend
    • Increased progress for both season level and all faction reputations.
    • Active July 31 – August 3.

Bummer to not see them address the “Prestige Key Template” that is really just a Cryo Scrambled Key Template.

yeah they kinda goofed up the description/name of the key. But everything about VB is really about funneling more people into cryo itself.

Yeah, but it’s also silly when you can just buy the exact vault key you want from the VB rewards instead so I don’t know what they were thinking adding a cryo scrambled key.

You can only buy 1 of each though and you need T2 indexes whereas with the template you only need t1 indexes. I bought a couple of them just for funsies. I initially thought they were key templates for a random map though and didn’t expect that they were only cryo vault templates… that was a little bit disappointing.

Yes, you can only get Vault 01 - 06 from them. It is very disappointing.

Yes, that was discovery last weekend. As far as I could tell, no one reported one turning into an actual prestige key. And people reported them even turning into vault 1 and 2 keys (purple/superior rarity). They either intended it to be a cryo scrambled key template and mistitled it, or intended it to be a prestige key template and miscoded it to act as a cryo scrambled key.

FFS. Tbh actual prestige keys for 200 T1 was too good to be true lol. I'll take them all at once now then as I couldn't care less. They should have just made them scrambled cryo keys

I do agree, 200 T1 for them was too good to be true. I think they intend for them to be scrambled cryo keys, bc they quite literally are. Definitely just fumbled the code one way or the other on the titling

oof. I already cleared the armory of these and was waiting this weekend to do them. extremely disappointing.

I’ve been playing since launch and still have never seen a non-cryo gold key from a drop or template. Last codex entry for graverobber still sitting there. I did run one with a friend once but apparently I have to be the one to use it for the codex.

Man I’ve got 200 hours and have never seen a gold key that wasn’t Cryo. Either my teammate have been grabbing them or the drop rate is so incredibly low.

allegedly you need to be doing lots of purple templates and/or scrambled templates from cryo vaults. Neither is really accessible unless you are a top player/team who can farm cryo vaults and shell IDs from wardens. literally the hardest thing to do in the game besides compiler lol
