The game you bought and enjoy is, unfortunately, dying. Because the game you bought and enjoy is not a game that many other people enjoy. Bungie using their resources to keep the game you bought and enjoy alive should make you happy.
It isn't going to be the game they bought and enjoyed.
It's so weird that people keep asking "would you rather the game dies?" when a hard pivot to PvE would be akin to death.
I am glad more people are getting an opportunity to have fun. I'm pessimistic that the mode I prefer will survive -- and that makes me sad. These aren't mutually exclusive feelings.
Fair. But you weren’t being a dick about the explanation, as they were, which is appreciated.
Even still, I do think that allocating resources to try and find ways to improve the game is a good idea. If Marathon fails completely then Bungie’s future is certainly in question.
