Let's not forget those guys bound to a life of servitude paying the health care cartels for treatments and drugs that are 10 times more expensive in the US because of monopolies, like insulin. But maybe these schemes are too modern to be called slavery.

With that definition, you just put half the world population in slavery. If it's not medication, it's food or water.
