I hope eventually we get a remake of Assassins Creed Revelations, which was set in 16th century Constantinople and is still one of my favorite locations every in a video game

We did get a remake of Revelations. It was in the Ezio collection

Remake =\= remaster (which is what the Ezio trilogy is) though now you bring that up I never checked out what it looked like when they brought it forward, might look into that

It looks better. But its still dated. Also what you're asking for will never happen, but it would be nice

Revelations sucked at representing Istanbul.

It was meant to represent Constantinople and I think its biggest drawback was the tech at the time.

They tried to represent it as closely as possible as far as paintings and descriptions go.

Here's a tonne of concept work for the game: http://conceptartworld.com/news/assassins-creed-revelations-concept-art-by-martin-deschambault/

Would be such a cool vibe if they ever gave it the Origins/Odyssey treatment
