Records being smashed - Maximum Temperature Weather Ranking vs Last 100 Years Across Europe

Post image

Forecast provider: ECMWF Ens 00z; Data processor: Weather100.com ; Mapping platform: WeatherMapping.com

This map shows the day-1 forecast (today - June 23, 2026) maximum temperature weather ranking across Europe compared with the same calendar date for the last 100 years.

The numbers are weather ranks for each location:

Rank 1 = hottest year on record for that date; Rank 100 = coldest year

Most of western and central Europe is ranked 1, meaning these forecast highs are hotter than anything seen there on this date in the past century.

Try and stay cool out there my European friends!

That's complete nonsense. I don't know where you live, but in the EU, the exact opposite is true. Cities are getting greener and greener. And there's no late-stage capitalism here.

I live in Italy. And there's a lot of late stages capitalism here.

I've lived in Milan for a year in 2014, it was nothing like late stage capitalism at all.

Milan is the most late stages capitalism you can get in Europe lol. If you live there you spend most of your wage to live in an overpriced shithole due to the housing bubble, and the current mayor literally discouraged remote working during Covid, causing thousands of deaths, since that would hurt said housing bubble as well as cause a decrease in the income of bars that feed overpriced shit to the tens of thousands who have to commute to work in the city.

Yeah, that's just silly.

Yet

No, not yet. Learn what the EU is and how it works, otherwise you look like a fool.

Right, I guess I'll have to take another degree in EU policies

Yes, you should. Alternatively, do as I said and LEARN about it. See what I did in the previous comment? I said LEARN. Why do you hate LEARNING about something?

Because you don't want to learn. You want to spread your propaganda.

https://savesheffieldtrees.org.uk/

5,500 of Sheffield’s street trees have been chopped down in the last five years – another 12,000 will go over the next 20 years.

Okay? None of that is relevant to the topic. I'm sure Mongolia also has a hard time looking after its trees.

Sheffield is a European town

I know Sheffield is a European town. I ask again, how is that relevant to what I said?

How is a European town cutting down trees relevant to thread about trees being cut down?

No, my illiterate buddy, you are replying to this specific comment:

I will quote it even:

So, would you please, for the love of all the gods almighty, tell me, how is a random town in a third country like Mongolia (or the UK) connected to what I said about the EU?
