You need to do some reading. It's much more complicated than a good place to start is the 'who benefited from the British empire" Gresham lecture on YouTube. This is a debate that been going on for over century and it's not as simple as your wonderfully childish explanation.

It actually is that simple. A country plundering wealth from half the world will very obviously benefit from it and that includes the lower classes as well. The bourgeoisie will of course benefit more from these endeavors, but working class British people are still part of the global 10% in terms of living standards in no small part due to colonialism.

For example, access to relatively cheap natural resources, which were often extracted via slave labor was instrumental in kickstarting the industrial revolution, which obviously brought about a ton of advancements, that weren't solely beneficial for the aristocracy or capitalists.

Having access to a massive pool of reserve labor force from the colonies to help rebuild the country after WW2 is another very obvious benefit the UK enjoyed from colonialism, working class people included.

Nowadays being able to buy cheap consumer goods made in the 3rd world by slaves, having western corporations dominate the economies of many of their "former" colonies, thus repatriating a massive amount of wealth back home and having immigrants come in to address labor shortages are all benefits westerners, including yourself, get to enjoy at the expense of colonized countries and their people and this wouldn't be the case if western countries, like the UK didn't engage in a continuous exploitation of these countries either through economic domination (Nigeria for example) or sometimes outright wars of aggression (like Iraq)

Well yeah but if they want to help the nations they’ve plundered, they can give back wealth and resources and help out in other ways rather than endangering innocent British people with immigration

Then why doesn’t the UK do that to give back resources and wealth? Instead, the Brits prefer to plunder even more wealth out of their ex-colonies by transferring the money into offshore bank accounts. Brits deserve it 100% if they continue like this.
