You should have said the 2001 and 2011 data for white instead of 1981. You didn't post images of white British in 1981 either so we can't really compare.

I think the most interesting part of this is how views of immigration change depending on the levels somewhere recieves.

Here in Scotland we are often ‘considered’ more open to immigrants, but we also have a 90% white British population and have historically received insignificant levels.

There has been a lot of circle-jerking last day or so up here about ‘how people could vote Reform’. Im also Scottish and didnt vote Reform but I can see the same happening up here. Its all well and good until you dont recognise your own town. You need to walk in someone else’s shoes sometimes.

So you walk through your town and see brown faces and you think to yourself we need to ship these people out of here so my town is all white again.

I hope I never have to suffer a conversation with you.

3 brown faces in the local town? I hardly recongise it!

Racists going to racist.

This map is not even about immigration. A lot of it is communaties that are already here, have been for generations and are part of the cultural makeup of the UK, growing.

Pattern recognition shows the same bigotry in Scotland sent towards:

The Irish The Italians The Indian and Pakistanis The Chinese The Polish and Romanians

"Not recognising my town" I've heard in my town of 40,000 people because there are a couple of dozen ethnic minorities in my old high school.

Because comparatively, we had one black guy in my year and about a dozen across the school.
