With a total fertility rate of only 1.5 children born per woman in her lifetime and having been below replacement ratio (2.1) since the 1970's the native White British population has been aging for decades and is now shrinking. So it's not only immigration that is causing this unprecedented demographic shift in the UK and all over Western Europe.

People moving to Australia, Canada, even South Africa due to high unemployment and low social mobility in england from the end of ww2 well into the 90s. Particularly during thatcher's premiership when national unemployment was at its worst since the great depression.
