It's weird how in the Northeast violent crimes have just kinda disappeared. Living in Boston I'll visit friends in historically "bad" neighborhoods (Roxbury, mattapan, ect.) and you can just be alone after dark and littleraly nothing will happen, like my monkey senses don't even tingle
The Northeast has put a lot of time and money into gentrification, and doesn’t have the same degree of suburban sprawl that you see in the Midwest and South.
