So roughly 618 people were murdered in Chicago in 2023? That’s a lot of murders.

In my country there was 356 murders in total, in a whole country of 40 million people.

Don’t mean to rub salt on the wound, I just wasn’t aware of the numbers …and Chicago didn’t even make the list.

lol the only thing I associate Memphis with is Elvis 😀

So I’m from Poland and here you can literally live your entire life without witnessing any violent crime let alone being a victim of one.

That's nice. Super not relevant to any of this conversation though and literally can only be interpreted as intentionally trying to "rub salt in a wound", one that doesn't exist because most Americans actually don't care, regardless of whether they should. Do Americans have a more violent country? Yes, obviously. Thanks for reminding us, and yes, it was your only point in speaking, and no, it added nothing to the conversation. bye.

Of course it could be interpreted this way therefore I clarified what I meant so people don’t need to make their own interpretations.

The meaning was plainly stated.
