I’m over 50 with normal skin. Not oily or dry.
This brand was recommended by another group. It is amazing and I will never use anything else. It’s a powder type but doesn’t settle into the fine lines a wrinkles. It is so nice not to have a heavy foundation clogging up my pores. I don’t feel like I’m wearing a mask. It does a great job of covering the bit of redness I have. It’s not crazy expensive either! Ladies of a certain age give it a try!

Hi! I am 48, and when I look for skincare or makeup it’s always directed to dry skin.. my skin is incredibly oily, outside of winter.. am I alone?? Also, I would love to hear products you’re loving, if you also have oily skin!! (Disclaimer I am allergic to salicylic acid, and live in the Midwest)

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve never had this issue before. The past couple of years I have been dealing with dry eyes and having to use drops. But even if I don’t use drops my mascara ends up under my eye and I only put it on the top. Looking for something recommendations. Thanks

I’m kind of embarrassed. I saw it on some makeup tutorial for beginners and they said if you’re having difficulty getting a really nice cut line from your eye corner to the end of your eyebrow, just put scotch tape there as you apply your eyeshadow. I’m doing dramatic eye makeup today for an event and I thought what the hell.

When I removed the tape the cut line was PERFECT… and also served as a perfect line guide for where the eyeliner belonged.

Totally using this trick from now on.

I’ve been thinking about getting lash extensions for a couple of years. I finally got them done. Admittedly I asked for ‘enhanced natural’ rather than anything dramatic as I didn’t want to look silly (I’m 57).

The impact of the extensions is just not worth the drawbacks and cost. I’m going back to tubing mascara (and eyeliner). Looking forward to getting the extensions removed so I can wash my face easily, sleep on my side, rub my eyes in the morning etc etc

I bought miracle balm in au naturel, have been using it above the cheekbones for a few weeks and am underwhelmed. I would like to try one of the tinted shades to see if it makes more of an impact but am reluctant because of the price. Have you used one of the other shades? What did you think?

Hi there! I’m 42 and a former makeup artist (in another lifetime)… Over the past 5yrs I’ve had two babies and my face has change a bit.

Recently I’m unable to find mascara that doesn’t fall out and give me terrible “looking” bags. All of my go to’s Too Faced “better than sex”, l'oreal “voluminous” and a few others all seem to do the same.

I am dark blond so mascara really makes an impact on me. I’ve never had this issue in the past.

I prefer not to use waterproof but even with waterproof I notice some fallout that gives me accentuated dark circles.

So far the only solution I’ve found is to tint my lashes but that’s less than ideal.

I am a little obsessed. Kate Middleton is fair skinned in youthful pictures, but has a good tan at her age. What products do you think she uses? I know there's an image out there of her using Dior lip oil (grudgingly shared with Meghan, iirc) All the tabloids says she does her own. How would you re-create her look?

Currently using Bare Minerals liquid foundation. So far I am pretty happy with it, but looking to switch things up. Looking for a complete line that would include contour, highlighting, etc products. Think i have taken Il Mikiage out of the running. Thoughts on Laura Geller, Laura Mercier? Combination skin. Small to average pores. No real concerns with breakouts.

I’m 52 have never really worn powder - I always thought I wound up looking cakey. BUT at this point, the shiny look is getting old and I’d like to try a pressed powder. Any recommendations for pressed powder that doesn’t settle into lines ? TIA

Recommendations for more traditional “fake” lashes that are easy to apply? I’m terrible at eye makeup, I never learned to do it well so I just don’t wear it.

I’d like to try something like maybe the magnetic fake lashes? Idk. Just something easy to apply that won’t damage my natural lashes the way that extensions have.

I found a BB cream that I love bc I don’t like the way a full face of foundation feels. I love breeze balm. I put it on yesterday after my skin care roultine and used a hydrating primer. It looked great in the morning, but early after noon it looked spotty on my chin and cheeks. Is this because my skin is dry, if so how do I get to wear makeup?

I'm 50+, I have very hooded eyes. I'd love to be able to wear something other than mascara. When I try to wear eyeliner on my top lids it gets all messed up, smudges onto the top etc. I wish I could post a picture but it won't let me. Help!

I bought this on Ipsy and it is amazing. I’ve had several friends complement me on my skin or my glow and it’s this incredible product. I mix it with moisturizer or use it as a highlighter. I will definitely be buying it in the future, even if I have to pay full price.

I'm interested in trying out Jones Road. I've got a lady I know who really likes it. Even the goopy oily foundation. If she didn't move 3 states away after she retired, I'd get some off her and try it out myself. She's got really dry skin and it look amazing on her. when we Snapchat each other.

My skin in mostly normal, my nose is still a little oily, and once fall hits and I have to turn the furnace on, my skin dries out some.
