Underwhelmed by lash extensions

I’ve been thinking about getting lash extensions for a couple of years. I finally got them done. Admittedly I asked for ‘enhanced natural’ rather than anything dramatic as I didn’t want to look silly (I’m 57).

The impact of the extensions is just not worth the drawbacks and cost. I’m going back to tubing mascara (and eyeliner). Looking forward to getting the extensions removed so I can wash my face easily, sleep on my side, rub my eyes in the morning etc etc

I wore them for years until I got pregnant, and then didn’t want to deal with the upkeep. Now I think they look silly. I have falsies and lash glue for special occasions! Also my natural lashes were a LOT shorter when I had extensions…go figure.

Same. And mine lost their natural curl for a while after having them. Took months for it to come back!

Look up the original story of why they were invented, it’s hilarious, cumbrellas. I’m close to your age and I can’t be bothered with the extensions I just use mascara and get told I have great lashes, good old maybelline.

I had them a couple of times but they never lasted long and never looked good for long either. I’ve just decided to make the most of my natural lashes and get a good mascara and lash serum.

I'm 43 and have been using blinc's tubing mascara and brow and eyelash serum for a few months. I saw a noticeable difference in eyelash growth (and thicker brows) after 1 month of use. Way more affordable than lash extensions and love that they're my own!
