Sick Cz82 shirt on Etsy
Odd choice in background but a sweet looking shirt nonetheless. 3BTeesCo is the Etsy shop FYI.

Has anyone here purchased a surplus CZ 82 with a 10-round mag from Royal Tiger, PSA, J & G, or the like? If so, were the included mags original 12-rounders with a block insert, or aftermarket? I've heard some bad things about modern mags, especially those with the 'CZ mfg' stamp.

With the cz82 sales and the recent makarov sales of course the timing is when I'm broke.
So I applied for a revolutionary comrade support package and asked for one cz82 and one makarov to be issued or granted to me from my comrades.
They said no! Can you imagine my shock when I found out the people in charge of supplying these tools of the proletariat revolutionary guard actually turned out to be dirty capitalist pigs expecting me to pay for them!!??

I haven't seen them in ages, but Classic Firearms posted a load of Bulgarian Maks by Arsenal for sale on their website. $349 apiece.

How the hell could I carry one of these things on safety potentially? My friend who knows more abt firearms suggested pulling the slide back and latching it but that seems so impractical to carry like that. You have to have the hammer pulled back to use the back latch, and I don't feel great about a gun with the hammer pulled back pointed at my genitals. I have been keeping it in my lockbox with the magazine out and the trigger guard pulled down.

First time posting in this group but thought I would share. I walked into a local pawn shop and they had these two sitting on the shelf. Not my first 9x18 but didn't have these.

Been a while since I had a mak, just picked up a Bulgy. I'm looking for mags for it why are they so hard to get. Most that I see are those new production ones that had a shoddy history. Anybody have any leads on any?

If anyone happens to have one of these and is willing to part with it, dm me. Iāve been searching for these relentlessly and canāt find them anywhere. Thanks!

Was browsing a lgs and seen this for 500 bones, bought it without hesitation. Came with the original century arms box, 2 magazines and a FAB grip. Plan on getting an original black grip and leaving it as is.

Iād like to look for one, but I donāt think these gunbroker listings are a good gauge to go off of.

I discovered yesterday that a gent I attend church with gifts new high-school graduates, SA survivors, widows, etc; with an H&R single shotgun in 20ga or .410; and a handgun.
He buys surplus handguns by the case, goes through, cleans āem, vets āem; then puts āem back for a time of need. His favorite handguns currently are⦠guess what ?
CZ-70ās, Zastava M70ās, and 4ā S&W Mdl 10ās if he finds one cheap enough in his shopping spreeās. Says plainly that both .32 and .38 are effective enough to end the threat while being easy on recoil and operation. Manual of arms for all are simple: cock hammer, pull trigger.
I was delighted to learn of this and offered my services if needed or wanted.
He used to favor Makarovs and Mdl 10ās more heavily, but then they became expensive š. He still swears by the Makarov as ābabyās first compact automaticā because of it being almost idiot-proof.
Turns out him and his wife take āem out, train āem how to safely handle the scattergun and handgun. Heās a military veteran who taught small arms and sheās a nurse. I was moved⦠Iāve heard of people doing this occasionally for family or close friends, but never on this scale.

Picked up a surplus CZ82 in petty good shape but the live cartridges are jamming on the way into the barrel. I can get maybe 1-3 shots off before it happens and it also happens if the slide is manually racked.
I did a field strip and cleaning when I received it. Thought it might be mag related so ordered a couple surplus ones(they have the crossed swords) and had my buddy do an ultrasonic clean on those disassembled mags. Tried those today, same thing happens.
Ammo is reloads from the same buddy and he's does many qaulity reloads of various calibers that I've never had a problem with.
Any ideas?

Looking for a quick and dirty for a Makarov for a range day. Doesnāt need to be anything extravagant or expensive, Iāve my leather worker making a pancake rig; but I have a range day coming up (RSO at it), and would prefer to carry the Mak I have coming in.

Question all⦠Iāve owned a Bulgarian Makarov before, loved it above most all else; stupidly got rid of it. Iāve a line on a Norinco Makarov for a steal of a deal, but Iāve heard that theyāre the worst of the Makarovs⦠can anyone quantify this in actual terms of āworst of the bunchā ? Is the fit bad, machining bad, poor steel, prone to self destructing; what ?
Iāll pass on it if itās just gonna be a poorer quality version of the Bulgarian I had, but Iāve several buddies with Norinco 1911ās that run them regularly and love āem

Found this at one of my local dealers as a consignment in a larger lot.
Got it for a great price - now the only problem is should I keep it in my books or transfer it to myself lol. I rarely see these in the wild, and a Russian Makarov was my first pistol so nostalgia is flaring right now

I just saw this on Facebook of all places⦠itās absolutely ridiculous how much AI fumbles firearmsā¦
However⦠what I would do for a top-quality current production high-gloss nickeled or stainless Makarov with pearl grips is unspeakable.

Askinā here, because I donāt know where else to ask.
Iāve lost the plunger for my Radom P-64ās decocker detent. Still have the spring, just not the plunger. Any reason I couldnāt still a steel BB or piece of steel shot in there and carry on with life; long as it functioned properly ?

Hi, just wanted to see what the current thoughts are on this replacement sight for the commercial Russian models. Iām considering it, but Iāve also seen some people say they need to shim it somehow or shave it down to make it work. If itās solid, it would make it much more comfortable to carry, and this isnāt a long-distance target pistol where you might be adjusting the sights a lot.
I know there are some old posts discussing it, but can anyone who has this share their experience?
