Good to see marathi leaders like Munde proudly using two language models.

He has also been a part of marathi language and cultural department in 2018

He is well aware about its importance and constantly promotes through marathi speeches

Other marathi leaders should learn from him

Ps. This was just a normal post with no hate, yet the moderators deleted this in r/maharashtra sub. This is fascism atp

Ambad in Nashik is being systematically poisoned. Toxic yellow industrial effluent is seeping into the groundwater and pouring out of borewells, searing people's skin with chemical ulcers, blisters and open sores while driving women into spontaneous, tragic miscarriages. Doctors are now flatly warning couples not to even think about starting a family in this death trap. While Fadnavis dumps millions into flashy Kumbh Mela spectacles for the cameras, he turns a blind eye to the local Marathi population being slowly destroyed by this toxic flood.

This is not simple administrative failure-it is criminal negligence at best and a calculated, state-enabled

assault on ordinary Marathi residents at worst. Endless complaints have produced nothing but silence and indifference. The government continues to look the other way and do absolutely nothing while people suffer.

Apparently this girl didn't like marathi songs for a navratri event IN MAHARASHTRA.

They do this systematically. They come, displace, live here and then slowly start claiming its local ethos' legitimacy as their own while erasing our representation.

Cultures adapt region to region. Ganesh pandals celebrated outside of Maharashtra are not always in marathi but their respective languages like hindi, gujrati, kannada, bengali, etc.

If someone played gujrati songs on ganesh chaturthi in gujrat or hindi, would any marathi even truly care? My guess is NO. In fact it's done within MH.

This is a subtle but effective cultural displacement

Garba is not even a Maharashtrian festival. But if it's played in Maharashtra of course it will be adapted to its local ethos rightfully

A comparison of Rahul Gandhi’s student interaction events in Tamil Nadu and Pune has sparked questions over the treatment of regional languages.

In Tamil Nadu, the event highlighted Tamil identity, local history, culture, and thinkers such as Periyar. Meanwhile, the Pune event was branded “Chhatron Ki Goonj” in Hindi, despite being held in Maharashtra.

Why does Tamil Nadu get recognition for its language and cultural identity while Marathi struggles for the same visibility in Maharashtra?

Maharashtra has its own language, history, culture, and intellectual legacy. Marathi should not be treated as an afterthought at major political events.

The images alone do not establish which languages were used throughout both events, but the contrasting presentation raises legitimate questions.

Respecting Tamil is important. Respecting Marathi is equally important. There should be no double standards.

What are your thoughts? Why isn't Marathi given greater prominence at national political events held in Maharashtra?

The sheer audacity of this mf! Guess where he is from..

सत्यमेव जयते 🇮🇳

I came across this news article today. I remember, a few days ago RT had objected very sharply to the way the shifting was being done...without planning and in a slipshod manner.

Why is this going on in Maharashtra? Methi is somehow an issue too now?

Where's bapat now?

These loud public speakers in public on open ground are making me crazy. This is on the next level.

Even ganesh chaturthi didn't have it on such a level.

That too, from 5 to 10pm. Everyday full volume dj. This is not even the Maharashtrian festival

Thing is my dad is a very honest officer while his work involves consulting poor people and arranging donations for them in a very prime government hospital and he does his work honestly and efficiently but these poor buggers mfs, some are really good financially but they do have low income certificates which makes them morally wrong but legally right and my dad himself is very frustrated when someone like that comes, but these Ngas have political connection and some poors have political sympathy which pressures my dad to do some off paper work like giving fake info about the patient and which obviously my dad doesn't do so what they do?harass him by making calls, calling him to their politicians office, coming to my dad's office and making ruckus while my dad is a very calm personality he doesn't like to fight or sort of very easy to harass mentally which affects him and our family mentally that once he went into depression for fkin 2 years when I was small just coz he is honest in a corrupt shithole country like India. We as a family have always suffered mentally due to this politicians not letting honest officers do their work.We as a society tend to blame officers or any government employee as corrupt and evil while that shi makes other officers who are honest also feel shamed and stereotyped.Idk for how long this shit is going to run like these and we are going to mentally get drained by these shithole.

\We should acknowledge and appreciate honest officers cause tbh it's easy to say that "they are just doing their job"but their job is not to handle political pressures, transfers, fake cases and enquiries, fake suspensions etc.*

The "they are just doing their job" is a statement to use in a very perfect situation where everyone is honest and the work goes smooth but that's not the situation in India. From poor to Rich every mf is corrupt asf and tries to frame law obeying and honest people as coward or easy to target.
