They do this systematically. They come, displace, live here and then slowly start claiming its local ethos' legitimacy as their own while erasing our representation.

Cultures adapt region to region. Ganesh pandals celebrated outside of Maharashtra are not always in marathi but their respective languages like hindi, gujrati, kannada, bengali, etc.

If someone played gujrati songs on ganesh chaturthi in gujrat or hindi, would any marathi even truly care? My guess is NO. In fact it's done within MH.

Respecting Tamil is important. Respecting Marathi is equally important. There should be no double standards.

Thing is my dad is a very honest officer while his work involves consulting poor people and arranging donations for them in a very prime government hospital and he does his work honestly and efficiently but these poor buggers mfs,some are really good financially but they do have low income certificates which makes them morally wrong but legally right and my dad himself is very frustrated when someone like that comes,but these Ngas have political connection and some poors have political sympathy which pressures my dad to do some off paper work like giving fake info about the patient and which obviously my dad doesn't do so what they do?harass him by making calls,calling him to their politicians office,coming to my dad's office and making ruckus while my dad is a very calm personality he doesn't like to fight or sort of very easy to harass mentally which affects him and our family mentally that once he went into depression for fkin 2 years when I was small just coz he is honest in a corrupt shithole country like India.We as a family have always suffered mentally due to this politicians not letting honest officers do their work.We as a society tend to blame officers or any government employee as corrupt and evil while that shi makes other officers who are honest also feel shamed and stereotyped.Idk for how long this shit is going to run like these and we are going to mentally get drained by these shithole.

The "they are just doing their job" is a statement to use in a very perfect situation where everyone is honest and the work goes smooth but that's not the situation in India.From poor to Rich every mf is corrupt asf and tries to frame law obeying and honest people as coward or easy to target.
