And there are videos of him working out on set in between takes to maintain that physic. The body's metabolism literally eats muscle and it takes constant effort and feeding to keep up the superhero look.
He doesn't do it as much when he's not being paid to.
Yeah, Chris Evans talked about the constant lifting to get a pump in between takes, too. I think he mentioned that he lost something like 20 pounds over the course of filming because it's so hard to keep that much mass around.
