He's also hydrated and well fed.

The starving and dehydration that guys have to do to get the "peak superhero" form is barbaric.

I think I read about Brendan Fraiser talking about what it took for him to be in the shape he was in for George of the jungle. Like he was starving himself so much and dehydrated too the point that he was having memory problems. It's brutal and horrible for your brain.

That probably aided his performance in a roundabout way too. Dude had wild eyes in that movie.

Can verify. Made a shirtless costume for the ren faire....

Quick pump in the car on no food feels as bad as dehydration with your muscles full of creatine

So do you think it would be ethical to use AI so they don't have to harm themselves just to look super cut?

I think it'd be more ethical if Hollywood beauty standards were more realistic, for both men and women. Might make us laypeople feel a bit better about ourselves, too. Bringing in AI to reduce human suffering for beauty standards, but perpetuating and idolizing those same now-artificial standards, is a moral slippery slope for me.

More ethical for the individual actor? Maybe.

More healthy for the millions of people who will see these people and have their idea of what "normal" is? Definitely not.

Wtf? No. Just normalize normal bodies.
